Hey everyone! Exams are fast approaching so here are some tips that might help you take care of yourselves during these stressful times!
Meet Jacky Sawatzky, a Llama enthusiast, and our virtual tour guide. Join us on Friday, April 9th at 11:30 am to welcome Jacky and our new adorable friends, the Llamas!
Exam season is right around the corner and this can be a stressful time for us all. Take a well-deserved break from your studies and join Jacky Sawatzky for a relaxing tour around the Serendipity Farm & Sanctuary to unwind & de-stress! During the tour you will have a chance to meet the 60 llamas and alpacas that call the sanctuary home. Jacky is a PhD student in animal behaviour and will also be giving an introduction into llama and alpaca behaviour!
With exam season upon us, we often need reminders to acknowledge the fact that our grades do not define us. Yes, we can all agree that getting good grades is great, but don't sacrifice your mental health to do so. Avoid burning out by taking breaks - it's okay to treat yourself for doing your best! Remember, your productivity is not defined by how much you accomplish and that you are enough! Best of luck with your exams!
Graduation is a very exciting and time but we want to normalize anxiety about uncertainty and life after graduation. If you are feeling stressed or anxious, know that you are not alone and you can always talk to a trusted friend or reach out to on or off campus resources.
