$1.273 million assessment, less than 10 years old, 7 bathrooms & 3 kitchens worth of water leaving this pipe causing pipe displacement and undermining. Being 10ft deep, this repair was expensive.

In honour of World Su***de Prevention Day, I want YOU to know that I am here to listen.

Every day, people like you and I struggle with life. It's hard to be able to reach out for help and guidance when you need it the most. About 20 years ago, my mentor came into my life & I didn't know the impact he would have. I am lucky. I think about it everyday. I am lucky.Without his knowledge and support, I cannot say where I would have ended up. That's more than half my life, I am lucky to have had that support. If you need that support, there is a community, if you need me, I will be here to listen and if you have a feeling about someone, reach out, listen, you don't need to give advice or opinion, just be there to listen. Support, encouragement, just show up.

I find myself reaching in to a few people in our business community and friends that I've grown to know and care about. Don't be afraid to ask the hard questions to the people you love, you may be their best resource.

Our 7th Brock Community Cleanup will be on EARTH DAY this year. April 22nd we will be meeting at Kay Bingham at 11am to kick off this event. We have routes for all levels of ability and distance from our meeting spot. We would love to have enough volunteers this year to expand our area to Singh St. Previously, we cleaned up all roads from the airport to Holt, Tranquille to Ord. This will also include our Adopt-A-Roads (Windbreak and Tranquille from Windbreak to the airport) We have already secured prizes from our regular sponsors and they never disappoint! We've hit 13 dingers at home this season, including 3 this past weekend from Tommy Green. A Groess Underground will donate $20 per home run hit at home this season, that's $260 and counting for our local SPCA branch.

In the wake of flooding in Merritt, the sanitary sewer system is surcharged. Backflow preventer (BFP) can save your house from sewage entering through your sewer line.

But

Most home owners are unsure if they have a backflow prevention system in thier house and don't know where to start. A Groess Underground can inspect and locate your sewer line for installation of a BFP or let you know if one is already installed.

There is currently an auction for services that can help diagnose these types of problems going for 10% of our usual cost that are closing today. Sewer maintenance will never be this affordable again.
