What you should know about the most underrated form of exercise Walking is such a beneficial form of exercise, yet it's often seen as kind of lame. Here are the reasons why you shouldn't overlook this activity as part of your fitness regimen.
It takes a willingness and courage to unpack trauma. The healing process is one of expansion and contraction, expansion at the exhilaration of taking charge of your life and also the lows of tending to your rejected tender parts.
Trauma keeps our minds and bodies living in and from the past. You had the resilience to live through your painful situations, know that that same person has the strength to live through, and heal from the unpacking of it.
Feel your innate wisdom and perseverance. Gift yourself an open heart and live in this moment and this day, it is the only one you can be sure of. Feel that freedom of finally being you….
Thank you for the great review, Sandi!
Thank you for celebrating National Physiotherapy Month with us! We hope you have gained some insight and knowledge on the vital role Physiotherapists play in the treatment of Long COVID. We would like to thank everyone in this profession for their continued dedication and hard work in creating better lives for so many Canadians and around the world.
You survived what happened and you will survive the unpacking of it. You are your greatest healer, you have just forgotten. Empower yourself to heal, claim your life back, and give yourself the gift of healing. You are worth your time.
Why are Physiotherapists important to those experiencing long COVID? The role of physiotherapists in supporting and empowering individuals to self-manage their rehabilitation, where appropriate and able, is important at any time and particularly so when access is restricted, or service delivery changed. Osteopathy for Every Body!
Did you know that osteopathy may be beneficial following surgery? 🏥
📚 A randomized controlled pilot study demonstrated that osteopathic manipulative therapy (OMT) was well tolerated in surgical patients following bowel resection and was shown to offer favourable outcomes with pain-relief.
The results of this pilot study suggests that OMT should be evaluated in an affirmative randomized controlled study.
