Semiconductor chips are key in numerous things in our lives from phones, laptops, and cars, to even medical equipment. However, many factors created a global chip shortage that disrupted many supply chains. Such factors include the pandemic, the evolving auto sector, and the U.S. - China Trade War. As consumers, we have firsthand witnessed and experienced the effects of these supply chain delays and the impacts it has had in our daily lives. With the shortage having repercussions across various sectors, we can see how prevalent supply chain issues are.

L’Oréal Canada is a worldwide innovative company that encourages new ideas, entrepreneurship, sustainable development and that stands for the development of its top talents.
Not only do you get a visit of their physical distribution centers, but you will have the chance to have networking sessions with supply chain managers and employees.

PepsiCo and Labatt are both CPGs in the food and beverage industry. CPGs, or consumer packaged goods, are items used in daily consumption, such as food, cleaning supplies and other household products. In the food and beverage space, other large players include Nestle, Tyson Foods, Mondelez, General Mills to name a few. Typically, items from food CPGs are sold in brick and mortar stores, and because of the limited space for the products and the sophisticated nature of markets, the industry is rather competitive.
