It's important to learn from your mistakes and give it your all if you want to start a business. Continuous learning and taking risks were a few key takeaways from last week's QSELF panel featuring co-founders of 437 and Smith Alumni Hyla Nayeri and Adrien Bettio.

QSELF is an undergraduate executive here at Smith with a goal to provide students with insight on how to pursue a meaningful career that is unique to each person's passions, goals and strengths. Entrepreneurs Hyla and Adrien discussed how their time at Smith taught them the importance of being confident, working hard and recognizing that success does not happen overnight.

Last week QIA and QSELF hosted a case competition to help first-year students to grasp a better understanding of the insurance industry and the variety of opportunities within the field! Congratulations to Team 4 (Corsen Parker, Nyla Ward, Sargun Khurana, and Zian Raheem) for their excellent work that earned them first place in the Case Competition. Finally, a special thanks to all the Marsh representatives that served as judges for this event (Stéphanie Joseph, Matthew Houghton, Sohail Sabar, Richard Doherty, and Gaurav Kapoor).
