Kids Summer Program
Edenbridge Family Services is currently seeking enthusiastic, self-motivated staff with a passion for supporting children with special needs.
Job Title: Children’s summer program support worker
Department: Community Services
Location: Lethbridge, Alberta
Job Summary: This is an 8 weeks position starting July 4th 2022 - August 26th 2022.We are looking for compassionate staff who are willing to make a difference in a young person's life. The position will be a 1:1.
Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm M-F, Fridays
Job Requirements:
• Minimum age requirement of 18 with good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Insured reliable vehicle with a valid class 5 drivers’ license is preferred.
• Emergency First Aid holders preferred.
• Able to stand, bend, squat, kneel and reach freely; able to freely lift up to 20 kilograms; able to assist clients with standing, walking, sitting, and transferring.
• Effective time management skills.
• Flexible thinking and good decision making.
• Open to personal growth opportunities.
• Previous experience in community care is an asset.
Edenbridge Family Services requires all new employees to produce a clear Vulnerable Record Search, obtained via your local Police Department, prior to starting work in order to further protect our clients and employees.
