New year, new FOLD Kids Reading Challenge! In 2024, we're recommending three titles across different age groups that fit the month's theme. 12 monthly challenges to get you excited about diversifying your reading and the reading of the kids in your life!

Peel Region’s early years and child care programs provide an important service to the community. Peel Region is committed to including diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in their planning and programs.

Over the past two years, EarlyON has been working to strengthen its DEI practices to make sure that all families can enjoy welcoming places that support their child’s growth and development.

The lessons learned in will help Peel Region to develop a DEI strategy for the broader early years and child care system.

It’s ! What better way to celebrate than with a delicious Oatmeal Cookie Recipe for you and your family to make together and, of course, eat together!

Cooking/baking as a family is a great way to spend time together and a fun actitivity for all ages. While cooking, children learn math concepts (measurement), science concepts (mixing ingredients to make something new), all while learning about and connecting with their food.

December 1st is World AIDS Day. Today is an opportunity to reflect on how far we've come, recognize the challenges that remain, and continue to fight the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS.
