Date: Friday, July 5
Time: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Reminder: Please bring a water bottle and wear a cap or hat to stay hydrated and protected from the sun. ☀️💧🧢
Schedule:
3:00 PM: All participants meet at Peel Multicultural Council (6630 Turner Valley Rd., Mississauga)
3:15 PM: We move to the bus station and wait for bus #44 (please, kindly use your Presto Card!)
3:34 PM: We depart by bus #44 S to the Meadowvale Town Center
3:44 PM: We arrive at the Meadowvale Town Center and move to the Meadowvale Community Center
4:00 - 5:30 PM: Short tour around the community center and library, followed by fun activities and socializing at the park
5:35 PM: We head back to the Peel Multicultural Council by bus #44
5:50 PM: We arrive at PMC where parents can pick up their youth. Alternatively, you can leave at the Meadowvale Town Center, but please inform us beforehand.

Peel Multicultural Council is hosting its annual Youth Forum titled, “Force of Nature: Igniting Change for a Green Future”, aiming to inform youth about the impact of climate change and encourage actions toward a more sustainable future — learning from elected officials, local community organizations, and hands-on workshops.
Hear from exciting guest speakers: Councillor Martin Reid (Ward 9), Dr. Carol Aziz (Climate Impact Fund), Samantha DiIorio (UTM Sustainability Office), Vicki Tran (Sheridan Sustainability Office), and Halley Patel (Community Climate Council).
The Youth Forum will take place on August 22nd, at Meadowvale Community Centre (Program Room 1), from 11:15 am to 3:15 pm (make sure to arrive on time). PMC is offering four (4) volunteer hours to everyone in full attendance. A free lunch will also be provided! Please bring your own reusable water bottle.
