We are gearing up for our Lock-in for Love day, this Saturday June 22nd where we will be locking in staff and volunteers to reach their donation goals! 💗🔐

A local Nanaimo Girl Guides unit recently had a BCSPCA presentation and decided to take it a step further to help the animals! They gathered these wonderful donations, made toys for the animals, and even made adoption posters to help our animal residents find their forever homes! Thank you so much!

Today was a day of happy tears for Pop and her family! Pop was adopted through the BC SPCA as a kitten, with her brother Squats. After a year and a half of missing her family, Pop was brought into the shelter as a stray. Luckily, she had a microchip registered through the BC Pet Registry and we were able to call up her family and have a speedy, joyful return!!❤️

All dogs, cats, and rabbits adopted through the BC SPCA Centres are microchipped and have a lifetime registration. We are so happy for this reunion😻
