The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Film Festival Coordinator to lead the planning, coordination, and ex*****on of the 2024 North Bay Film Festival. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for film, community engagement, and event management. The 220 hour contract starts in May and runs through the end of November. There will be some outreach work in the spring and summer with most of the work happening September through the end of November.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee festival planning and ex*****on, including but not limited to marketing, sponsorships, and logistics.
- Coordinate with filmmakers, jurors, panelists, and workshop leaders to ensure a smooth and engaging festival experience.
- Manage relationships with sponsors, community partners, and vendors.
- Help develop and implement marketing and outreach strategies to maximize attendance and participation.
- Supervise volunteers and staff involved in festival preparations and operations.
- Ensure the festival runs smoothly, addressing any issues or emergencies that arise promptly.
- Conduct post-festival evaluations to gather feedback and suggest improvements for future festivals.

- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Familiarity with the film industry and a passion for cinema is an asset!.
- Ability to work flexible hours, particularly in the lead-up to and during the festival.
