Our beloved brother, Barry Conick, graduated to glory early this morning after battling health complications these past 7 months. He is now reunited with Sue, and we celebrate the grace of God in his life and the many memories so many of us have with him over the past 10 years. We are currently working on plans for his celebration of life, and we will post that information in this thread as soon as it is available. He will be missed!

SO EXCITED TO SHARE! After 3 years of regrouping and listening closely to where we sensed God wanted to lead our congregation, we are excited to announce the merger with the Sanctuary Church of Oakville to launch something new: Catalyst!

We’ll, after 8 seasons over 10 years, Starting Point has finally won the Championship of the Oakville Inner Church Softball League! So grateful for great team mates and for all the fun we had this year.

Due to the poor weather forecast tomorrow morning, we have decided to move our service online by using Zoom. We will open the zoom room at 9:19am and begin our service at 9:30am. If you are interested in joining us for the live gathering, please message us. We will post the message video later in the evening tomorrow as we usually do for those who are unable to join us in the am.

You’re invited to join us this afternoon at 1pm at Forestview church for a fred picnic fellowship gathering before we move inside for a town hall meeting at 2pm to discuss our congregation officially coming together with the Sanctuary Church of Oakville. Forestview church is between Bronte and Appleby at Hwy 5 on the north/west side. We hope you’ll join us.

Happy Mothers Day! Today is our monthly worship services where all our house churches gather at Forestview Church (3175 Dundas Street West, Oakville...between Bronte and Appleby on Highway 5) to worship together. We will be meeting at 2pm and Pastor Mike will be leading us in worship and speaking. There is child care available, and first time guests are expected and welcome! Please note: we received word last night from Forestview Church that their water system had a problem yesterday and as such, there is no running water today in their building and bathroom use may be affected. We apologize for this inconvenience, but still hope to see you today.
