Today, we at WPE would like to introduce you to Ruby Bridges.
At just 6 years old, she was the first African-American to attend an all white school and she is considered a legend in the US civil rights struggle.

We love donor stories from our fundraisers here at We Planet Earth! This story perfectly captures the pure and giving hearts of Canadian children ❤️. It’s so important to raise the next generation with these values 👏🏼. Thanks for sharing a great experience Holden!

Three people were out on their patio with their dog 🐶. The mother and father listened to our pitch thoughtfully, while the son and his dog listened intently. After a few questions from the father and our explanation of how important it is to be helping in Canada 🇨🇦 rather than overseas. Then the son spoke up! He said “hey dad these guys are a completely different cause and are trying to help”. After that the mother was on board with donating! She invited us closer to start the donation process. Then we where able to have some great conversation and connection building by talking and playing with the dog during the sign-up process. After the donation was confirmed the family all said thank you for the information and we told them how grateful we were for their impact! Overall a great cause let you a great connection ❤️🌎.
