Bare Bottoms
Diaper Need is a critical issue in our community. Together, we can help. Changing diapers changes lives.

Most child care centres require a full day's supply of diapers. For some parents this means missing a full day of work because they don't have enough diapers to send their baby to child care. This proves how diaper need con

Wishing all mothers everywhere a wonderful Mother's Day weekend!
This.
This is what not having enough diapers means.
This is how it affects parents and their babies.
You can help. Donate the unused, outgrown diapers that your baby no longer requires.
Because changing diapers, changes lives.
Why diapers matter? Without diapers, parents can't send their children to childcare, and without childcare, parents can't go to work. Diapers help parents work and set children up for more success in their future education.
For those celebrating Easter, Passover, Ramadan....
May your weekend be filled with love and light.
Our friends at One Diaper are looking for some special support.
We all know April Fool's Day is meant to be fun and jokes.
So, we're just posting this friendly reminder to be sensitive to the struggles of others when planning your fool's day gags.
1 in 8 women have infertility.
1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage/loss.
8% of pregnancies are high risk where a mother and/or her baby's life is in danger through the course of her pregnancy.
26,000 babies every year are born without life.
Pregnancy is not a joke, so don't use it as one on April 1st.
Today we honor and celebrate women everywhere.
Wishing you all health and happiness this holiday season.
We've been quiet on here and we're sorry for that. We've been busy and have had our hands full for quite some time (thanks Covid) - just like YOU!
We are all tired.
And so, we want to give an extra special SHOUT OUT to all the moms - and dads - putting in overtime these days.
We know it's tough. Keep doing your best - it IS enough.
You're doing an amazing job! And we think you're AWESOME.
And if you happen to have unused, outgrown diapers that your baby no longer requires, please consider donating them in any Ottawa Food Bank bin most convenient to you or any food bank bin in your community.
Together, we can make a difference.

Our Story
At Bare Bottoms, we believe clean diapers are a basic need for babies and their caregivers. Yet, one in five Canadians struggle to provide their baby with this basic essential. This is known as Diaper Need.
Many childcare centres require a full day's supply of diapers. For some parents this means missing a full day of work because they don't have enough diapers to send their baby to childcare. This proves how diaper need contributes to perpetuating poverty by limiting opportunities that help families improve their own situations.
Please support our cause by collecting and donating diapers. Your generosity will directly support families and babies who need it.
Together we can make a difference and improve the lives of others in our community.
