January 21st is International Hug Day.

In a time where people are becoming more fearful and isolated and seem to be loosing our connection to our community it is vital that we connect to those that we can while being socially responsible. Hugs help us to remember that we are all one human family. They are a symbol of intimacy and love. Human contact through hugs stimulates the production of feel-good hormones and strengthens out body's immune response while increasing our sense of security and trust. Hugs give a boost to our self-esteem. Hugs show love, support, understanding and that we are not alone in this. Remember to hold those that you can because not all of us can get the hugs that we so desperately need right now. Hug yourself! Hug your pet! Hug a tree! Send out a virtual hug to someone you love! To those that really need a hug right now and even those that think that they don't, I am sending out hugs to each and every one of you today.

With today being World Hypnotism Day I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to share my passion and knowledge of hypnotherapy with my friends, my community and those that are curious about the numerous benefits of hypnotherapy. After 5 years of exploration in hypnosis and self awareness I have successfully completed my certification in Hypnotherapy through the National Guild of Hypnotists. I trust the methods acquired through my studies implicitly. I am very excited to share the possibilities with you.
