Pick your pain doesn’t just apply to the running world but also to society as a whole. If everyone understood that there is no such thing as a “pain-free” route in life, we wouldn’t have the entitlement mentality that is becoming more and more prevalent in today’s world. Starting a business is hard, fostering healthy relationships requires true love (not just in word, and fluctuating emotions), healthy communication, and desire to stay connected. Getting an education takes discipline, becoming an elite athlete requires mental fortitude, athletic prowess, strong accountability, and patience, achieving goals takes commitment... but oh the reward is so great, and desire realized is sweet to the soul!

If you don’t let your accountability partner in, give them a little ownership of your goals, and determine to keep your relationship honest, you won’t get very far.

I have many clients who pay me for accountability, but they never want to hand over any power. They want to achieve these goals, but they don’t want there to be any cost if they don’t. I can’t blame them! Habit change is tough! (Old, bad habits die hard, sometimes). I’ve found that, depending on personality, people who give some sort of power in accountability see more results- and faster!

No one can stop you from just disappearing completely and ignoring your fitness accountability partner. This is where you need some GRIT or resolve to keep showing up. Face the consequences, have some hard talks if needed, roll your eyes repeatedly, but keep showing up. Don't ghost your accountability. I’ll say it again:

Keep. Showing. Up! You got this.💪🤙🏆😎 ⚔️

Patience helps us develop better critical thinking abilities, which helps us to cultivate a more disciplined way of living. A lack of patience often results in being unhappy, irritable, focusing on the negative and eventually believing that nothing ever seems to go our way. Patience improves our ability to accept setbacks and enjoy life much more. There is a saying; “Setbacks, paves a way for comebacks.” Patience allows us to persevere and make more productive decisions, often leading to greater success.

The skill and virtue of patience, will help us be less focused on what “isn’t happening”, and more focused on being present with life as it is occurring.  Let's continue to let patience have its perfect work!-James 1.

Community Sport Development, is a form of provision and practice which is based on the social connections that people have developed through the opportunities provided, and participating in sports, fitness, and the faith.

It plays a big role in supporting active democratic lives, by promoting and overcoming the autonomous voice of surrounding communities, that may be in a more vulnerable status than others.

Communities that participate in sport and recreation develop strong social bonds, are safer places, and the people who live in them are generally healthier and happier, than places where physical activity isn't a priority. Sport and recreation builds stronger, healthier, happier and safer communities.

Full day of footwork, fitness, & football!
With good footwork, an individual allows themself to control their centre of gravity to their favour. Not only is overcoming the difficulties of one's centre of gravity extremely beneficial for stability, changing direction and initiating movement, but it is also vitally essential in maintaining balance throughout our range of motion, and everyday functional movements. Also enhancing cognitive function.
