The WCF is honoured to announce its ratification as a member of the global advocacy group Childhood Cancer International (CCI) at the 29th Annual CCI International Conference in Ottawa, Canada
CCI is the largest patient support organization for childhood cancer and is a global, parent-driven non-profit that represents more than 180 parent organizations, childhood cancer survivor associations, childhood cancer support groups, and cancer societies, in over 90 countries, across 6 continents.

Privileged to be representing the foundation at the the annual conference of the International Society of Pediatric Oncologists. This year in Canada’s capital; Ottawa.
The WCF are delighted to announce their participation in the Kidney Cancer Association Affiliate Program. @ KidneyCancer ! Together we are seeking to provide increased support for patients and families impacted by pediatric and through awareness and research initiatives. The WCF is a leader in paediatric/ childhood kidney cancer information and care. It is a member of the International Kidney Cancer Coalition, the International Society of Paediatric Oncology and a working partner of a number of nationally based kidney cancer charities in low, middle and higher income countries. The KCA promotes scientific advances through two annual research symposiums and a robust grant program, participates in legislative advocacy, and seeks to be a source of education and resources for patients, caregivers, and anyone impacted by kidney cancer. KCA’s Affiliate Program brings together like-minded organizations to work in partnership for the kidney cancer community. The WCF are joins the Chris “CJ” Johnson Foundation, the Chromophobe and Oncocytic Tumor Alliance (COA), HLRCC Foundation, Joey’s Wings Foundation, and the Judy Nicholson Kidney Cancer Foundation as an affiliate. As the only organization dedicated to fighting childhood kidney cancer I was delighted to represent the WCF in Argentina to attend the annual International Kidney Cancer Coalition (IKCC) conference.
The 3-day event brings together the worlds leading renal organizations to strategize and collaborate on projects internationally.
World Kidney Cancer Day (WKCD) is today 15th June 2023. This year, the campaign will focus on the importance of survivorship with the theme, “We need to talk about living with kidney cancer”
