Meet Yasemin!
She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with 8 years of work in the public health, non-profit and education systems Her educational background is in neuroscience, psychology and social work. Yasemin’S areas of specialty include mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma, life transitions, developmental disabilities, self-harm behaviour and substance use.
Yasemin is passionate about working with clients to have a better understanding of themselves and their experiences. She believe that understanding clients’ needs, providing a compassionate, safe, caring, non-judgmental space supports the path to discovery and creating positive and meaningful shifts. Yasemin incorporates evidence-based interventions (eg. CBT, DBT, Mindfulness) along with a focus on the body-mind connection.
