From Line Cook to Sous Chef, Shubham started his journey with JOEY Restaurants in 2018. His passion to win and his relentless drive to succeed allowed him to quickly excel in his role, all while completing his MBA. Shubham shares some highlights from his journey with JOEY Restaurants thus far:
“I used to think of working in the kitchen as a part-time job to get me through school. My leaders and Partners have changed my mindset, and I can’t ever imagine leaving. I'm inspired by my uncles and by Rupert Martin. Their impact on both my personal and professional development has been life changing. They were there to inspire and motivate me during challenges and have helped me establish the framework for how I define my way of being.

We are proud to partner with the American Culinary Federation to support Apprentices through the Culinary Apprenticeship Program within the US.
Apprentices at JOEY Restaurants work under a Red Seal Chef in an industry-leading 2-3 year training program which allows them to learn culinary styles outside of the JOEY Restaurants menu.
In this program, they build a solid foundation in culinary arts through in-house projects, while attending semesters at a local culinary school. Our culinary programs inspire our chefs to create and execute different menu items and cooking styles outside of their daily roles in our restaurants.
