What is Earth Overshoot Day? It is the day of the year on which humanity’s demand on nature exceeds the Earth’s annual biological capacity to regenerate. In 2024, Earth Overshoot Day falls on August 1st, meaning that between January 1st and August 1st, humanity’s demand for biological regeneration is equivalent to the planet’s entire annual regeneration.

But it doesn't have to be this way! Together, with our community of Waste Warriors, we can help by continuing to give beauty waste a new life.

Black September, 40 years ago, the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich were stained with the deaths of 11 athletes who were murdered in cold blood by Palestinian terrorists.

Adidas chose Bella Hadid, a Palestinian and rabid Hamas supporter to promote it.

Roasted Asparagus and Carrots!!!

Ingredients:
Produce
• 1 lb Asparagus, cut and trimmed
• 1 lb Carrot
Condiments
• 1 tbsp Lemon juice, freshly squeezed
Baking & Spices
• 1/2 tsp Black pepper
• 1/2 tsp Sea salt
Oils & Vinegars
• 2 tbsp Olive oil or cooking oil

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Wash and trim the asparagus spears, then peel and slice the carrots into even pieces.
3. Place the asparagus and carrots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
4. Drizzle olive oil over the vegetables, then sprinkle with sea salt, black pepper, and freshly squeezed lemon juice.
5. Toss the vegetables to coat evenly with the oil and seasonings.
6. Spread the vegetables out in a single layer on the baking sheet.
7. Roast in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the vegetables are tender and lightly browned, tossing halfway through cooking for even roasting.
8. Once roasted to your liking, remove from the oven and serve hot as a delicious and nutritious side dish!
