"You Need To Learn To Follow Directions" is about becoming an immigrant in Canada. It's a raw reflection of the journey of becoming a number rather than a person. Navigating through the shadows while wearing a smiley facade, it portrays the struggle of going through a keyhole to be considered "adapted."
