Weaponup is a holistic practice that combines the discipline of kung fu and the grace of vinyasa yoga. The practice combines four different aspects:
WeaponUP Balance: Focusing on balance, breathing, slow movements which remind you of a cool morning qi gong practice
WeaponUP Flex: Focusing on flexibility training, deepening the reach of your body!
WeaponUP Sculpt: Strength all the way! This series combines the strength training of shaolin kung fu with the demanding practice of power yoga.
WeaponUP Grace: Culminating in the grace movement, which are small flows that look like dances designed to bring you into the moment, your body and out of your head!

Happy Monday all! Just saw this rummaging through my computer! This was me training in Wudang Mountain in 2015 I believe. This shaky version of the 36-Step is brought to you thanks to the ice completely under the snow which was making me slip and laugh.
I spent almost one year at this Wudang Tai Chi academy in the Wudang mountains only practicing tai chi, Qi Gong and meditation.
While it was not as physically intense as the Shaolin academy it definitely had its own difficulties. What I remember most is the feeling of ultimate seclusion as we were only a few students at a time. In the winter the pipes would freeze and we had to boil water to shower.
This was a lot of fun even though it was not easy!

This five-minute tutorial shows you the basics of eight angle pose. A few stretches to get ready for it, and how to position your hands and legs in order to master the asana.⠀

The Stretches: ⠀

1. Forward Bend (5 deep breaths hold)⠀
2. Pigeon (5 deep breaths hold, each leg going forward and back)⠀
3. Extended Puppy (5 deep breaths) ⠀
4. Back circles on all fours (five circles in each rotation)⠀
5. Wrist circles (five in each direction)⠀
⠀
Next, bring the back of your right leg on top of your right tricep and interlace your left leg on top. Start by lifting your butt off the ground and pushing your chest forward. Your gaze is in front of you. ⠀

And VOILA 💫💫 Eight Angle Pose. ⠀
⠀
Save it for later, and late me know if it works for you! Please do not be frustrated with yourself or your body if you find that you are unable to do it on the first few tries, everything takes practice! If this is too easy for you then wait for other upcoming tutorials and just have fun with it. ⠀
