Participation On. What a unique project and wonderful group. The youth mobility activity took place in Alanya, Turkey where the participants from Germany 🇩🇪, North Macedonia 🇲🇰, Portugal 🇵🇹, Czechia 🇨🇿, Türkiye 🇹🇷 came together to analyse the youth participation realities in their countries, to map the common issues and needs and brainstorm on possible solutions. It was a fantastic time together full of inspiring talks, exciting games, discussions, dancing, and a lot of fun. The only negative side was that the activity was too short and we wanted to spend much more time together. However, several online activities are planned for further meetings.
This year, we host 2 more youth exchanges which will implemented in Armenia in November. Apply on JuBuK blog, link in bio. There are still some free vacancies.

Throwback to Qu**rs n Sports Youth Exchange.

From 15 to 23rd of August our Qu**rs’ n Sports Youth Exchange took place in the wonderful forest area close to Bremen, Germany. Young people from Latvia, Lithuania, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Germany met to do and talk about q***r sports.
We talked about the definition of q***rness and LGBTQIA+ in their countries, different types of discrimination that LGBTQIA+ people might face when being active in sports. Each country presented their own sports games and adapted them to have it suitable for the needs in the group. Being surrounded by a beautiful forest, we spent time in the nature connecting with ourselves and each other, sharing our own journeys and relationships with sports. Finally, we got a grasp of how a q***r sports group can look like, what to be aware of and also reflected on our own needs and expectations towards sports groups.

Thanks to Erasmus+ and JuBuK for making this experience possible!

Training Course „DYNAMIX“, 07-14.11.2023, Fayssac, France

Participants from 6 different countries: Germany, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France and Greece

Project Description:

Since its creation, our association, Via Brachy, is dealing with group dynamics and cooperation issues. We
believe that things won’t change only through individual action and that living and/or working together offers to
whoever experiences it an opportunity to grow as a person and at the same time to do things he/she would never
have been able to do alone.
But understanding each other, getting together, or setting up and sustaining a collective project are not easy jobs! As
persons or as organizations, we often failed in our attempt to make it happen.
Why? Probably because we are used to compete with each other, to impose our point of view, to talk without really
listening to the others, to lead a project our way or to follow a charismatic person. Most of us were not taught how to
communicate with the others, and most of the time we don’t know how to deal with conflicts when they occur.

From 31 July to 10 August 2023, we, the distinguished German delegation, had the privilege of participating in an enlightening ERASMUS+ Key Action 1 youth exchange held in Wojnicz, Poland. The event, graciously hosted by Fundacja Ornament, was convened with the pivotal aim of countering the growing sentiment of youth indifference towards public affairs. The overarching mission was to accentuate the significance of proactive civic engagement within the European Union's vast expanse.

Throughout our engagement, we delved deeply into a myriad of pertinent topics. This ranged from the intricate nuances of EU policies and the effectiveness of youth council implementations to the multifaceted dimensions of migration concepts that continue to shape our shared European landscape. The methodology adopted during this exchange was highly immersive. We were actively involved in intellectually stimulating debates, which fostered a culture of critical thinking and encouraged diverse perspectives.

Furthermore, our educational excursions to historically and culturally significant sites like Tarnow and the somber Auschwitz camp allowed us to connect our discussions to real-world implications, forging an indelible link between the past and our current aspirations. The intercultural nights were an especially memorable aspect, as they facilitated rich cultural exchanges, broadening our horizons and fostering a spirit of unity amidst diversity.

In conclusion, this exchange was more than just an event; it was an experience that has holistically equipped us. With enhanced understanding and newly acquired skills, we are now better poised to address the challenges posed by youth indifference. Energized and inspired, we are committed to crafting and implementing impactful projects that will invigorate and rejuvenate the civic spirit within our local communities.
