Today I want to explore the concept of polarities through the perspective of Astro-Psychology and more specifically the dichotomy of Yang (masculine, positive, light) and Yin (feminine, negative, shadow/dark). 🌝🌚
Polarities represent the division between the conscious and unconscious aspects of the psyche. Yang signs symbolize the conscious, while Yin signs represent the unconscious, alternating throughout the zodiac. 🌌
According to Carl Jung, the interplay between these opposite poles is crucial for the integration of the psyche, a process he calls individuation, which we could also rename as self-realization. 🧘♀️
In very simplified words, you’ll only feel whole once you have integrated and embodied all parts of yourself without feeding inner division. But this is a topic I will cover in a later post.
Behaviorally, Yang signs are extroverted, focused on the outer world and expressive, while Yin signs are introverted, concerned with the inner world and reflective.
Yang is likened to a broadcasting system, conveying messages through action or intellect, while Yin functions as a feedback system, receiving messages through senses or emotions. 💭
The key difference lies in their relationship to nature: Yang acts on and interprets nature, while Yin submits to and unites with it.
This fundamental distinction shapes their approach as active/independent/self expressive(Yang) versus receptive/dependent/self preservation (Yin).
Now I want to know, do you have more Yang or Yin energy in your chart? In which areas of life do you tend to show more independence or dependence? 😃 Let me know in the comments!
As per usual, we need to look at your whole chart for a better understanding 😘🙏
With love,
Pauline
Getting a little deeper today on the topic of Karma as I know this is something you’ve been asking for in the past weeks! 🤗♥️
In a previous post, we saw that Karma is not just fate. Nor it is some kind of divine punishment system. Karma is a law of cause and effect. 🔄
In Hinduism and Vedic Astrology, we believe that no event or action can happen without a cause. Which means that there needs to be a cause for every result that happen.
The literal meaning of Karma is “action”.
Karma can take 3 forms:
✨ Sanchita is the Karma which we have brought with us.
✨ Prarabdha is the karma which is yielding fruits right now
✨ Agami (also called kriyamana karma) is the karma we may incur in the future.
But how does it work really?
The past impressions (Saṃskāra) in the mind is one Karma, the present action you are doing is another Karma and the impression of the present action is another Karma.
An impression in the mind is latent action – it is still action, but it is latent. Just like a memory. One memory is functional now, and other memories are latent within us. Until the impression of your previously completed Karma is on your mind, that Karma manages to exist.
You are freed from Karma once the impression is fully erased. 🧘♀️

In Astro-psychology, Ta**us sign is known for its 'earthy' presence and embodies a phase of life where security and consistency are paramount. 🧘♀️
With roots in the late sensori-motor and early preoperational learning in Piaget scheme (from eighteen months to approximately four years old), those with Ta**us prominent in their chart show a psychological need for stability. This is reflected in their choices of life with a high sensual focus, where pleasure and material comfort are often equated with safety and security. 💸
Ta**us individuals are often characterized by their voluptuous and inviting nature, seeking to establish a solid and comfortable existence. They value the physical and tangible, showing acquisitive tendencies that may manifest in its Rajasic or Tamasic form (read exaggerated or immature) forms as possessiveness or materialism. 🏡
Their perception tends to be concrete and uncomplicated, favoring the simple and straightforward. 🤗
In terms of behavior, Taureans are calm, serene and have a comforting presence. They are creatures of habit, showing resistance to change and a preference for the familiar and predictable. This can lead to a 'stick in the mud' demeanor, where safety and comfort will almost always be prioritized over adventure or excitement. 🛑🎢
Extremes of this sign's influence may result in stubbornness or resistance to change, motivated by an deeply rooted fear of loss or instability.
When pushed to its darkest nature, Ta**us's aversion to change can reach near pathological levels. The prospect of losing security and attachments is their deepest fear. Interestingly, it is particularly visible in the charts of people suffering from Borderline Personality Disorder,
where difficulties in achieving a stable sense of self and maintaining enduring relationships can lead to intense attachment issues and insecurity.
However, when balanced, Ta**us energy provides a soothing, stable force that values the beauty of the natural world, the pleasure of the senses and the reliability of the known and trusted.
Do you know where your Ta**us sign is? Let me know! ♥️
With much love,
Pauline
With the upcoming eclipse tomorrow in Aries (Ashwini Nakshatra specifically), I thought it appropriate to dive a little bit in the psychological needs and behaviours of Aries sign 🔥
In Astro-Psychology, we analyze Aries energy as the development phase of individuals usually spanning from birth to 18 months of age, where we develop primary narcissism. This crucial phase begins the slow process of separation and individuation from the rest of the world. In other words, Aries is the birth of the self as a separate being.
👁️🗨️ Paradoxically, in the beginning, Aries, like a newborn child, sees and experiences the world through fresh eyes, without a sense of being separate from it nor having a defined identity distinct from other individuals. In its purest essence, Aries energy communicates “I am the world, here and now”.
🤝 Although there is no sense yet of being a separate self or having a defined identity distinct from others, Aries energy gives a strong impulse to survive as an autonomous being which goes in direct opposition to its complementary sign Libra which supports cooperation and dependance with others.
🚀 If only the “here and now” exists for Aries energy, behaviourally speaking, this means that:
- The capacity to wait, to plan ahead of time or to endure frustration is not their forte
- Aries energy will ask for immediate gratification in whatever it touches.
- There is no fear whatsoever, which means that Aries will make us attempt more than what we can accomplish and promise more than what we can deliver in reality.
- Aries energy is excellent at starting rather than finishing, better at pioneering in something than perpetuating legacy.
💥 Finally, Aries is characterized by a certain raw, unrestrained and quite primitive energy, similar to the energy found in raw sexual desires or agression. When channeled sustainably, this raw energy is where Aries can derive its most powerful physical and mental strengths.
Now let me know, where is your Aries sign in your chart? 🤓♥️
Hi everyone 🥰♥️
Since a lot of you guys have asked me for this… here it comes! ✌️
The 2023-2024 Roadmap Consultation ✨🌌
I will only offer this consultation throughout the month of September and half of October, and will reopen a similar one in January 2024.
The idea behind this consultation is to discover the world of planetary transits in a personalized way and to empower you with knowledge to make informed choices for the upcoming year.
During this consultation, I will use the transit and prediction techniques of both Vedic and Krishnamurti Paddhati Astrology. So you should get both a soft and direct idea of what to expect (KP tends to be quite direct pragmatic in its answers 😂)
We will go through the important transits of the upcoming year and delve into the planetary influences of each month until September 2024.
Topics covered might include relationships/marriage, career, finances, family, children, physical and mental health, education, spirituality, relocation/travel, and/or any other topics you see relevant.
As for any consultation that implies predictions, I recommend you guys to read the deontology statement I wrote, available in the consultation description in the link in bio.
I recommend this consultation for anyone who is curious about joyfully playing with the Universe more than to seek some kind of certainty or appease some kind of anxiety of what might happen to you next year.
As per usual, the consultation can be paid in 2 or 3 times. ☺️
I remain available through DM or email if you have any question. And otherwise you can book your consultation directly through the link in bio! 🥰
Much love,
Pau

The Reality?
I spent twenty-five years of my life "working on myself" because I thought something was wrong with me.
I spent twenty-five years of my life "working on myself", because I refused to allow pain or discomfort to be part of my life.
I spent twenty-five years of my life "working on myself" because I was unable to live in the present moment.
I spent twenty-five years of my life "working on me", because I never questioned what I considered to be "me".
But why?
Because when we have experienced difficult events early on in our life without the right tool and support to face it, the brain learns that the present moment is something to be wary of. So we spend our lives living in the rumination of our past in search of answers on why we are who we are, and then we spend our lives anticipating all the scenarios that could make us avoid suffering.
We live with a filter on ourselves, lulled by the illusion of time.
Your identity, what comes after "I am" is constantly changing. With every passing second. The adjectives with which we identify exist only from our illusory experience of time.
The more we fight the constant change of our identity, the more we suffer.
With love,
Pau
Hi everyone! 🥰 Today I wanted to share some personal insights that have been changing my perspective and practice of astrology lately.
Astrological predictions have always been a subject of fear and fascination. And like many, I have also been captivated by the idea of knowing what lies ahead. The promises of predictions seemed so comforting to my anxious mind.
The need for certainty is a deeply-rooted aspect of our psychology, that can be traced back to our evolutionary past. Yet, deep down, on my journey to practice true freedom of the mind, I questioned whether Astrology was the right path for me.
I realized that putting blind faith in predictions could lead to dangerous passivity in my life. I feared that I might lose touch with the power of my own choices. I needed to find a balance between my fascination for astrology and my desire to live mindfully, free of identities, beliefs and ideas about the self.
How could I listen to the wisdom Astrology could offer me without becoming a slave to its predictions? How could I find joy in embracing the unknown while also appreciating the guidance Astrology offers?
I've now come to embrace the idea of using astrology mindfully, as a mirror that reflects aspects of the universe (and therefore ourselves) we might overlook.
Predictions offer a glimpse into the unknown, providing us with quick reassurance (or distress) and partial answers to life's complexities.
I don’t think that Astrology, nor any self-development tools that we have today will save you or me from pain.
✨A Shoemaker makes shoes because it is easier and less painful to walk life with shoes. An Astrologer reads the sky because it is easier and less painful to walk life with guidance.
It’s okay to want easiness and less pain. But please don’t forget, you don’t need shoes to exist. The more you use shoes, the more fragile and dependent on shoes your feet will become.
As always, the poison lies in the dose you take. Balance is key.
Let astrology be a companion on your path to freedom, not the dictator of your life.
Let astrology be a tool to illuminate your life and inspire you to live with intention and more empowerment.
With love ♥️

Introducing the light and shadow energies of Uttara Ashada, the 21st nakshatra in Indian astrology! 🌃
This powerful lunar mansion is associated with the divine energy of the Vishvadevas, the Universal Gods also called Ganadevatas. According to the Vishnu Purana, The Vishvadevas are the 10 Sons of Dharma and Vishva. They represent 10 aspects of the Universe: goodness, truth, willpower, ritual skill, time, desire/lust, firmness, ancestors, abundance and peak of joy.
Uttara Ashada brings forth qualities of determination, leadership, and responsibility. As The Vishvadevas bless its natives, they embody strength, ambition, and a strong sense of duty.
The symbol of Uttara Ashada is an elephant tusk, which represents the ability to overcome obstacles and challenges with strength and resilience. It signifies the capacity to face adversity head-on and emerge victorious. Uttara Ashada individuals are endowed with the strength and determination to break through barriers and achieve their goals in life. 🐘
Surrender is a key aspect of the spiritual teachings of Uttara Ashada as it invites its natives to release their attachment to personal desires and outcomes, acknowledging the presence of a higher divine order. By surrendering to this cosmic flow, the natives can cultivate trust in the universal intelligence and recognize that their individual will is just a part of a larger, interconnected whole.

« Who is my soulmate? What my partner will look like ? Is this person my soulmate? » 🤔
These are, by far, the questions I get the most in consultation.
In Vedic Culture, the concept of “soulmates” is deeply rooted in the belief of karma and reincarnation. Every individual has an eternal soul, and the journey of the soul extends beyond a single lifetime. The idea of soulmates revolves around the notion that souls are interconnected and bound together through multiple lifetimes.
Souls travel through various incarnations to learn and grow spiritually. During this journey, the souls may encounter different individuals who play various roles in their lives. Among these connections, there may be a more significant bond between two souls known as soulmates.
The concept of soulmates in Vedic culture goes beyond romantic relationships. While it does encompass the idea of finding a life partner with whom one shares deep love and compatibility, it also extends to other relationships such as friendships, family members, and even gurus. These soul connections are considered integral to one's spiritual evolution and growth. ✨
Vedic teachings emphasize the importance of dharma, which refers to one's duty, righteous conduct and life mission. Love and affection are seen as an important aspects of relationships, but they are not the sole foundation of the relationship. Relationships are a sacred bond where both partners should commit to help each other fulfill their dharma and untangle karma.
Not everyone may encounter a romantic soulmate in every lifetime, and some individuals may have multiple romantic soulmates connections throughout their journey. 🥰
In the Jaimini system of Astrology, the planet with the lowest degree, excluding Rahu and Ketu (though some astrologers take them into account), assume the role of Darakaraka. Darakaraka means "the significator of the spouse ». Each of the 7 planets can therefore act as the Darakaraka, and their placement provides insights into the nature of the main life partner. 🪐
Now let me know in the comment, which planet if your Darakaraka?
Recently, I have been thinking a lot about how I can truly help my clients when they book an astrology consultation with me.
The reality is that most people interested in astrology consultations are people who are currently confused about their life in general or certain areas of their life. They therefore seek for some guidance as a tool to gain certainty about a specific or several topics.
Most often, we already know what we want. We just don’t dare to admit it. Or we just feel the need for someone or something to confirm it to us because we do not trust ourselves to make the right decisions. I don’t think that this is a problem, as long as we are conscious of it.
This post aims to explore the potential shadow aspects associated with astrology. It is not intended to dismiss or undermine the personal significance or beliefs you (and I!) may find in Astrology. The purpose is to encourage critical thinking and conscious engagement with this ancient practice.
As you all know, I am passionate about Astrology. And I do believe that a good way to honor this practice is to question myself about the best ways I can use it.
Today I would like to shed light on how we can inadvertently reinforce false identities, limiting beliefs, and confining images with Astrology and how this can lead us to a path that can inadvertently imprison us within rigid boxes, hindering our growth and self-discovery.
Let’s use astrology to embrace life in the here and now.
With much love ♥️

Mula Nakshatra is the 19th lunar mansion in Indian Astrology, and it is associated with the deity Nirruti, Goddess of dissolution, calamity and destruction, who lives in the Kingdom of the Dead and who is associated with the Goddess MahaKali. The symbols of Mula Nakshatra are a bunch of roots tied together, a lion's tail and an elephant's goad.
Mula Nakshatra represents the deep roots and foundation of existence. It is known for its destructive energy directed towards spiritual liberation, as it encourages individuals to uproot and release old patterns, beliefs, and attachments to the earthy realm.
By releasing these attachments, Mula natives create space for inner emptiness or nothingness. This experience of emptiness will feel extremely scary at first for the natives but essentially, it will also lead the natives to a deeper connection with the true essence of themselves and the universe.
Mula encourages its natives to embrace this void or nothingness as a source of potential and possibility. It invites its natives to surrender to the unknown and go beyond the superficial and transitory aspects of existence. Essentially, Mula allows its natives to explore the deeper truths that lie within the emptiness. It encourages the realization that ultimate freedom can only be found in the formless and infinite nature of nothingness.

For the past months, I have been having more and more clarity on where I want to direct my practice of Yoga, Astrology and Ayurveda.
This article is an overview of it. I have been an adept of the self-development billion-dollar industry for as far as I can remember, with the genuine core belief that investing in books, courses, and coaches would help me « unlock my full potential and become the best versions of myself ».
Don’t misunderstand me, I have zero regret as to all the workshops, therapy hours, consultations I attended to. They did helped me in some ways. I genuinely believe that these were necessary steps on my path to learn how to truly live life. But I also genuinely think that there were not the tools that could truly end my internal suffering.
For the past months, I have been realizing how much my understanding of the self was flawed.
We tend to think of ourselves as fixed entities that can be improved upon, like a machine that can be upgraded with the tools and techniques. But in reality, the self is much more complex and fluid than that. It is the life that experiences itself within us.
Like life, our sense of self should be constantly changing and evolving, shaped by our experiences, relationships, and environment.
Rather than focusing on self-development, we should focus on self-discovery. This means embracing the complexity yet simplicity of the self and exploring who we truly are, rather than trying to fit ourselves into preconceived labels that traps us in an identity.
Self-discovery involves engaging in true introspection, examining our beliefs and values, and challenging ourselves to step outside of the comfort zones of these labels.
You are not who you were two years ago. You are not who you were a second ago. You are who you are NOW.
I hope this reflection will help you as much as it helps me,
With much love ♥️
Pauline
This post was inspired by a recent chat I had with my dear colleague Johanna, from .
We briefly chat about how « naturally undisciplined » we feel we are in some aspects of our life and how our perception of this « lack of discipline » affects our daily routine and the introduction of healthy habits.
The truth is, habits are the building blocks of our lives. They shape our behavior, influence our choices, and determine our life path. But as most of us know from experience, sticking to habits is often easier said than done. 🫠
We often start with good intentions, but our motivation wanes, and we fall back into old habits. ⭕️
There is a lot I’d like to tell about this topic. Especially about the dangerous sentence we tend to identify with such as « I am not a disciplined person », some words which are merely based on a false sense of identity. But this part will be talked about in another post.
I wanted to focus this post on a more practical approach as I got curious to do some research about habits.
That's where the principles of the bestsellers " Atomic Habits" came in. In his book, James Clear lays out a roadmap for developing positive habits that I found quite useful and easy to apply.
I hope they will be as helpful to you as they are to me.
With much love,
Pau
Ardra Nakshatra is the sixth nakshatra and is located in the constellation of Orion. It is ruled by the fierce and powerful god Rudra, the Howling God of the Destructive Storms and Thunder, Lord of the Wild Animals and Medicines. 🐺
Those born under Ardra Nakshatra are said to embody the characteristics of Rudra, including his fierce and uncontrollable nature. They may possess a natural curiosity and a deep desire for knowledge, but may also struggle with feelings of anger and aggression and destruction. They may have a tendency to lash out when they feel threatened, and may be prone to restlessness and a desire for constant change.
However, like Rudra, those born under Ardra Nakshatra also have the power to heal and to create positive change. They possess a deep understanding of the nature of existence and are often drawn to spiritual and philosophical pursuits. They have a natural talent for meditation and contemplation, and use these practices to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them. ✨
The sacred animal associated with Ardra Nakshatra is the female dog. The dog is considered to be a symbol of loyalty, vigilance, and protection but also aggressiveness. In Hindu mythology, the god Rudra is often depicted with a pack of dogs. The dogs are said to represent his fierce and protective nature, as well as his ability to guide his devotees through the darkness.
The symbol of Ardra Nakshatra is a teardrop, which represents the tears shed by those born under this lunar mansion. Those born under Ardra Nakshatra are said to possess a deep sense of empathy and compassion, and may feel a strong emotional connection to the suffering of others. The teardrop symbol is also said to represent the transformative power of emotions, and the ability of those born under Ardra Nakshatra to channel their emotions into positive change and growth.
While Yoga is often associated with physical postures and flexibility, Yoga is at its core a holistic practice that encompasses practices not only for our body, but also for our mind and spirit. 🧘🏻♀️
One of the practice that helped and keep helping me on a daily basis are the Yamas and Niyamas.
The Yamas are focused on how we interact with the external world and other people, while the Niyamas are focused on personal conduct and self-discipline. Together, they provide a comprehensive framework for living a life of integrity, compassion, and self-awareness. ✨
While the Yamas and Niyamas were not originally designed with the sole purpose of improving our mental health, their practice can help us manage stress, anxiety, overthinking and other mental challenges. 🌞
Whether you're struggling with your mental health or wish to maintain a healthy mindset, consider incorporating the Yamas and Niyamas into your yoga practice and/or your daily routine. You may be surprised at how much of a difference they can make in your life. 🥰
Have a blessed evening,
Pauline
