Due to a shortage of volunteers Tuesday 30th January, the Day Centre will be closed

Christmas lunch at the Imperial Hotel, Barnstaple.

Mr Bill Hockin of W C Hockin Transport Ltd presenting a cheque for £3,000 on behalf of the National Road Haulier’s Associstion to Headway North Devon. Dave Darch trustee, committee member and retiring treasurer received the cheque. Bill Hockin has been a great supporter of our Day Centre for many years and we are very grateful to his accociation.

Friday 19th May is Hats for Headway Day

The Barnstaple Ladies Choir performed at the Day Centre recently giving members of Headway North Devon an enjoyable afternoon. If you would like to hear them again, they will be taking part in a charity concert at Barnstaple Baptist Church , Saturday 20th May at 7:30pm. £5 entrance fee.

Clients and volunteers celebrated the coronation of His Majesty King Charles lll, with a meal at the Beaver Inn, Appledore.

The Shanty group Anchors Aweigh dropped into the Day Centre to entertain clients and volunteers with traditional shanties and other songs of the sea.

Headway North Devon clients and volunteers taking part in a hot wax art activity under the expert tutelage of Sally from Appledore.

Members of Headway North Devon gratefully received a generous donation of £1,494 from representatives of Rock Park Bowling Club.
It is the hard work and generosity of donors such as these which enables Headway North Devon to offer enrichment activities to clients. Our heart felt thanks to all who contributed.

West Quay Fundraisers at the Beaver Inn, Appledore presented members of the Headway North Devon Committee with a cheque for £500. Our sincere gratitude to all those who took part in their fundraising efforts.

🎃🎃Hallowe’en preparations were well underway at the day centre this week with Jack O Lanterns being carved. And the kitchen kept everyone going with delicious bowls of pumpkin soup 😋. 🎃🎃

On Tuesday members of Headway North Devon enjoyed a trip to The Weir, Bude for lunch and activities. The first summer trip since Covid. Another big thank you to all our supporters whose kind donations make such enrichment activities possible.

Due to the high temperatures forecast for Tuesday 19th July, the Day centre will not be opening for client and volunteer safety

Parenting and supporting children People with brain injuries often report that not only has their ability to carry out parenting roles been affected by their injury, but also their relationship with their children has changed.
