Scouts Summer Camp
With the summer holidays now upon us, it's time to look back over the last 9 months and what a busy 9 months it has been.
All four sections have been extremely busy, below is just a snapshot of what we have been up to.
In March the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts headed off for a trip to the Fleet Air Arm Museum in Yeovilton and the Squirrels attending a funday at Wellington Country Park
In April it was a day spent at the Watercress line riding trains and learning about the railway.
In May all four sections attended the District Beastly activity day with the young people and adults taking part in arrange of activities from climbing to bouncy Castles. The Scouts headed off on an expedition challenge as well as attending the District Cub & Scout Camp at Gilwell Park.
June saw the Beavers heading off the District Beaver Camp for 24 hours of fun filled activities.
As well as all this the weekly meeting have included activities learning about DIY, learning about space, photography, hikes in the woods, cooking and First Aid to name but a few.

Do you have or have friends that have a child (male or female) aged between 8 & 10.5, if so, why not bring them down for a couple of taster sessions to see if they like Cubs, we bet they will and will want to stay and start their Scouting Adventure which will see them grow & develop within themselves.
