Getting diagnosed is scary, full of questions and often incredibly overwhelming.
The Blue Space is a branch of the Pink Place charity, and provides wellbeing & support for men diagnosed with cancer, or whom have had cancer, or are affected by it. Therefore we have provided a list of just some of the people that are able to help in addition to our own support services which are currently based online...

Would YOU take a 1 to 2 minute chill water dip at our offices with our Operations Manager, Kay, during the closing stages of her daily dipping challenge in cold water to raise funds for The Pink Place.

Great opportunity for some fantastic photos and promotion of your business (feel free to bring your branded bits) and share across your socials, all for the sake of a quick dip in an ice-cold pool for a minute or two.

Following your dip, warm up with a hot drink and homemade cake plus the option of a neck and shoulder massage with our Therapist Manager, Nicola.

Sarah, already supports The Pink Place as a volunteer complementary therapist but she wanted to do even more & raise some funds too.
Despite her absolute terror of heights and of fair ground rides, she found the courage to do a SkyDive, made even more nail-biting as her jump was cancelled twice due to bad weather. Flying High!
Our Sky Divers braved a 15,000ft dive & raised nearly £1,700 for our charity. Hannah and Sarah, accompanied by Cllr Paul Miller, Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane.
Also accompanying them was Dan Gates who was jumping for the mayor's other charity Tough Enough To Care in their fearless jump.
Susan, one of our long time Pink Place volunteers is embarking on the 10 mile Great South Run around Portsmouth & Southsea on 16th October.
Many of the people whom we support will recognise Susan from serving refreshments at our wellbeing support sessions.

We are here to offer men in and around Hampshire, cancer support.
As a branch of the Pink Place, we welcome men with a cancer diagnosis to get information, support, enjoy wellbeing sessions, be part of events and socialise with others in order to help how we can.
Providing accessible, beneficial and down to earth support for patients, survivors and for partners, friends or family who are equally as effected.
Guests may use our Blue Space Wellbeing sessions at any point from initial diagnosis to up to 3 years after the end of treatment. Our monthly sessions provide an opportunity to benefit from our Wellbeing Services, including a range of Complementary Therapies, Barbering, to get support, meet others in a similar situation and find other resources that may help.
