How do you do your planning?

I have to say, I love my Miro board. It's always with me, on the train or when I'm waiting to see the Dentist. If I have a thought, I can just jot it down?

Do you use paper, or post-it's?

I'd love to hear about your process. I'm still refining mine.

because today is for new author and her book The Parting Glass. I was honored to work with JoJo on this book the last several months. I'm almost speechless on how to describe this book other than Amazing! It's got protective/touch her and unalive you MMC, guarded sunshine FMC, family secrets, suspense, darkness, humor, forced proximity, amnesia/trauma, and found family. The Parting Glass has a complex story line and plot that will get you hooked within the first few chapters. It has strong character development for both the MMC and FMC, and has all the feels covered with pain, sadness, anger, joy and love. It's a must add to your 2024 TBR.

Congrats JoJo this is such a great book and I can't wait for everyone to read it!

I'm buzzing tonight!

I've had the first pass back from my Dev Editor, and she was delighted with the story. This is so exciting. Just some tweaking and tidying to do, but the bones are solid and no major restructures are needed. I'm beyond relieved.

Now the hard work starts 😁

🎧I always listen to music when I'm writing, and if I have a specific song in my mind when that embodies the chapter, it goes on repeat.
I won't say which tracks were played on repeat when I wrote some of the scenes, but they have certainly have made the playlist.

Introducing The Parting Glass. I realised I've already collected loads of assets to support my vision of this story so I thought I would share.
The Parting Glass is a mafia dark erotic novel, based in London and Ireland and tells the story of Aiden and Suzy. We are introduced to the Byrne family and learn nothing can be taken for granted.
