Notice this verse says ‘will’ four times – not ‘might’ but WILL!

Yet the promise is based on the first few words which talk about hoping in the Lord.

When our hope (biblical hope which is an assurance of a good outcome) is on the LORD then we gather strength for whatever is in front of us.

If our hope is in another person, the government, our own good works, finances or anything else then strength is not guaranteed.

Take 20 seconds to stop and intentionally let the Lord know that you choose to put your hope in HIM this season.

Then receive the strength that He gives you as you wait in His presence.

It’s a stunning exchange available to all of us at any time! ⚔️

Life is tumultuous, questions are overwhelming, confusion is everywhere . . . but courage is inside of you.

While you wait dig deep into the well of God’s wisdom, grace and peace for it is there courage is grown and battles are won.

Remember, this is not forever, it is for now.

Allow your faith to see through the eyes of expectation, confident the sea will part, the provision will appear and the enemy will flee. ⚔️

Most of us have heard this verse hundreds of times, if not thousands.

Read it today in light of 2024. ✨

🌟 God knows what is up ahead.
🌟 His plans are good.
🌟 He desires you no harm.
🌟 He always sees you in light of His promised future for you.

Now breathe out a ‘thank you’ to the Father for 2024 BEFORE any of those good plans have come to be.

Then jump into the new year with great expectancy and biblical hope. 🎉

All of creation arrived when God spoke and remained when God commanded.

We don’t see the waters asking to be relocated or the mountains complaining of the view; they simply took their place and God called it GOOD . . .
. . Until two people changed the landscape by choosing sin over trust.

In a world of entitlement, rebellion, selfishness and confusion let’s never forget that God has not moved positions.

He is and will always be GOD.
He is and will always be GOOD.

➤ It is because of His goodness we can trust Him to be God.

Only when we acknowledge Him as the LORD of our lives will we truly begin prospering where He’s placed us.

I grew up in a state that had major snowstorms during the winter.

Driving in snow takes a special kind of faith and on more than one occasion I found myself hitting ice and skidding out of control.

It’s a horrific feeling because there is very little you can do to change the unfolding circumstances careening toward you – whether it be a tree, snowdrift or another vehicle.

Life can feel like that at times.

Out of control, chaotic and left to chance. 😳

Trust changes all of that.

If I TRULY trust that God loves me, is a good God and that he wants my best then circumstances won’t move me. ⚔️

We know that we ‘should’ believe this but if we are truly honest very few of us do.

Life has taught us that anything can happen and living with a low level of expectation is wisdom if one wants to avoid living in perpetual disappointment.

That is not how God created us!

Trust lets go.
Trust lives expectantly.
Trust … trusts. 🤷🏼‍♀️

If you find yourself trying to remain calm in the chaos, stop pretending that you trust.

Be honest with God about your feelings.

Then grab the Bible and meditate on Proverbs 3:5-6 until the truth of the word becomes stronger than the fear of the world.

He is and always will be faithful, so hold on and see where He takes you. ✨

20 YEARS ago today I left for the UK! 🇬🇧🎉

Last night I did a teaching where I talked about 4 key things that I've learned help in transition/tough times:

🗝️ Seek direction from God, not answers

🗝️ Know your battle ... are you battling 'to' or battling 'through'?

🗝️ Expect scars .... sacrifice silences entitlement

🗝️ Embrace rest ... without it we work from self and not faith

Those points have helped me tremendously as I've navigated pioneering as a single woman in another country for two decades. ⚔️

➡️ I believe we are rapidly heading toward a season where those who follow Jesus Christ will be called to walk with greater levels of faith, sacrifice, wisdom and peace than we've ever known before.

It's not time to be the judge but to be the messenger. ✨

Will you follow?
Will you say yes?
Will you let go of the comfortable?

👉🏻 For those who've not heard it before here's a bit of my backstory to what was happening 20 years ago AND why it's relevant to us today.

Within three months of hearing a clear word from God I had sold my house, given most everything away and arrived with no job, no visa (therefore not allowed to work), no long term place to live and not really knowing anybody... 'only' a word from God that He wanted me to move and He would show me the next step after I got here. 😳

My life was literally in two suitcases and a carry-on. 🧳

Since that time it has been one faith adventure after another and I am forever grateful the Lord called me to a place I did not know that I belonged. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Has it been easy?
Not by a long shot.

It was one of the hardest decisions I've ever made and one of the most challenging faith walks I've ever had to navigate. 👣

But it's been worth it a thousand times over to have gained deeper intimacy with the Lord through some dark seasons, to meet so many amazing people and even to navigate challenges I would have never chosen.

If He's calling you today to step away from comfort and toward calling, take a deep breath of faith and GO FOR IT. 👊🏻

Trust God's love to bring you on an adventure filled with pain and purpose, challenge and beauty, uncertainty and dreams fulfilled. ❤️
