Perfect for budding artists this is an opportunity for children to learn the art of drawing their favourite animals. Experienced instructor and artist Tanja will be on hand to guide your child through the fundamentals of drawing techniques.

CALLING ALL YOUNG FARMERS...
We've some great activities for you to take part in next week!
Fancy joining our young Farmer's Club?
We're running morning sessions from 9am to 12 for 6-14 year olds on Aug 19th, 22nd and 23rd.
We've also running a very young Farmer's session on 20th August for under 5s.

What's involved? Well read on...

Arrive at the farm and get busy with morning feed.
We have over 200 animals at the farm so it’s a busy time feeding anything from sheep, donkeys, cows, pigs, chickens to chinchillas, lizards, and tortoises.
A short break and snack followed by the morning cleaning routines. During all of this we’ll be talking about the animals, what they like to eat and how to look after them.
With all the jobs out the way, there will be time for some animal interaction as we conduct our daily health checks and weigh ins.

We all know that donkeys are sometimes known to be stubborn but there's a reason why.
It's all part of self survival, if they think they are in danger they will stand their ground and not move, playing for time to decide what to do next.
This is a totally different reaction than horses, who will take flight immediately if frightened.
