MOODBOARD - Concept Design from a Recent 1:1 Design Consultation
Our client approached us with the challenge of transforming a room that was primarily used as a passageway and storage space, despite its gorgeous sunset light and stunning views of the garden. The potential of this underutilised space was undeniable and we were excited to help them reimagine it.
We proposed converting the room into a serene library space, given their passion for books and crafting an inviting environment that encourages calm and reflection.
By integrating cozy reading nooks, custom shelving, and soft ambient lighting, we created a space where our clients could unwind and immerse themselves in their favourite books.
The result is a harmonious blend of functionality and tranquility, turning a once overlooked area into a cherished retreat — a true testament to the power of thoughtful design.
If you would like to learn more about our approachable and convenient design services to achieve your dream home, comment “Consultation” below and I’ll be in touch with all the details on how it works!

We love incorporating pops of red into any interior design. This bold colour introduces excitement to a subtle palette, allowing other features to take centre stage.

We love the space planning stage of a project — exploring all the possibilities a space has to offer and optimising it for our clients.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This week, we’ve been busy developing internal layout solutions for reconfiguring the first floor of a Victorian terraced house in Bristol in anticipation of a new loft conversion with a dormer extension at the rear.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The brief was to create a family bathroom and a spare bedroom on the first floor, and to design a new master bedroom with an en-suite and an office space in the new loft area.

Which option is your favourite?

When it comes to interiors, I love creating unexpected details that catch your eye and put a smile on your face every time you see them. Whether it’s an unexpected colour, a unique detail in a joinery piece or interesting shapes in furniture and accessories.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For me, interior design is all about crafting delightful surprises in a space that has been well-considered in its functionality and form, creating the perfect backdrop for our clients’ lives.

So very excited to see this space finished and even more excited to start to have fun with the soft-furnishings.
Our client has a fabulous collection of furniture, antiques and art that we will curated to make it work with the new barn space.

Starting each project with a nod to nature, we create interiors that not only catch the eye but also cultivate a sense of belonging. With simplicity and honestly, we aim to connect spaces with their environment, creating harmony and balance that resonates with the soul.

. Prior to setting up Ro Projects almost a year ago - time flies when you have fun! - I freelanced for some very prestigious interior design studios like .skey, let by the brilliantly talented duo Sophie & Georgina.
This a project very close to my heart where I got to design some amazing bespoke joinery elements and bathroom. So many lovely details - a personal favourite is the Office bookcase.

Anyone else getting butterflies in their tummies when all those abstract ideas at the early stage of a project start becoming very real?

Also, does anyone else wake up in the middle of the night to make notes on things to check in the morning?
