This Saturday- tomorrow in fact - it’s the Bristol Beacon record fair! Thousands of lovely things over four floors, and of course we’re only a few minutes walk away. Lots of recent additions to the racks across the board. A little stack of African and Latin LPs, our first delivery from the excellent Libreville label, some copies of an excellent new local blues album by Kirris Riviere and much more…

It’s Record Fair time again in Bristol. And if you’re coming to the Bristol Beacon fair on Saturday September 2nd, come on over to Wanted afterwards- lots of new stock as ever, some great hip hop, lots more 45s, we’re now stocking the excellent Jukebox Music Factory label from France, and we have Tony’s Records T-shirts back in stock too…

This Saturday! The Bristol Beacon Record Fair is ON! A trainload of vinyl in one place, from Aardvark to ZZ Top and probably beyond! Four floors of LPs and 45s, and a really good cafe too. If you’re still keen, the shop will be open just a few minutes walk away - lots of new stuff n the racks as always!

THIS SATURDAY! The return of the Bristol Beacon Record Fair, free entry from 10am onwards… biggest fair in the South West and beyond! The shop will be open too, for extra vinyl possibilities!

On air for the next hour on Noods! A lot of South African chuggers this months, amongst other things!

We’re open till 4pm today for business as usual! Come and buy records!

This Saturday September 3rd - after the summer break, it’s the return of the biggest and best UK record fair outside London!
Free entry!
The fair is located in the brand new foyer building of Bristol's oldest established concert hall. Now spread over FIVE floors, the venue offers a light and spacious environment which has proved increasingly popular with the public and traders alike since our first event in 2010.
Entry is free to the public from 10am to 4pm, with multi-storey parking next to the venue. There are three large lifts to all floors and an excellent cafe & bar.
Traders from all over the South attend the event, with buyers from as far-afield as Japan, Russia & Poland.
Our fair is mostly vinyl, with a few CD traders. You'll find everything in the hall from £1 bargains to expensive rarities, and dealers specialising in most genres of music from the fifties to present day.

For those who don’t know (we haven’t really spread the word, but these things always leak), Wanted Records is moving. After 12 years, we’re leaving the cosy environment of St Nicholas Market and braving the outside world. The new shop is bigger and better and, according to Google Maps, approximately 70 metres from the old shop. We open on Saturday morning at 10.30, come and find us at 43 High St, Bristol BS1 2AT…

We have a VISA card in the shop that was dropped by a customer today - if you've been in, please check!

Very sad news about the passing of Michael Chapman, another legend gone. Love to his partner Andru at this awful time. x

We are pleased to announce that from Wednesday April 14th, we will be open again!

Initially we'll be here from 11am to 5pm on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays - and hopefully back to normal hours in the not-too-distant future!

We'll be limiting numbers in the shop, please wear a face mask and if you want to use the listening deck, please bring your own headphones!
