We had a brilliant week with the children at Norton Baptist Church last week. Gavin and Phil plus Caroline Vallance and team, led a fun packed programme which included games, crafts, songs, quiz's and we explored several food related Bible stories together too. It really was a great week and children loved every minute!

We're partnering with Norton Baptist Church to run another fantastic holiday club Tues- Fri next week. This year Gavin and Phil are amazing touring chefs (With Mexican outfits!?) Come and join them for some fun Bible teaching, games, crafts and plenty of kitchen chaos! Throwback Thursday... Just 2 weeks ago Gavin was at Sizewell Junior Camp sharing teaching from the Bible, looking at the surprising character of Jesus. The young people absolutely loved every minute of the camp with games, worship, teaching and activities each day.

Plus Gavin is leading the talks all this week on the theme of Surprise, focusing on how Jesus life and ministry surprised many people. Its going to be a great week!

We had a great staff away day yesterday in Playford, Suffolk. Big thanks to Lightwave Emerge for hosting us and feeding us too. We spent some time praying, reviewing strategy and going for a walk.

Big thanks to everyone who came along and joined us for our BCY prayer gathering this morning. We spent some time praying for various aspects of our work including our upcoming October residential.

We had another good evening back at the Hangout youthclub with .st.edmunds yesterday evening. Gavin got to join in with all the youth club activities and share a fun gospel message about the surprising character of Jesus. Which involved eating spoonful's of mayonnaise!

Nicola and Phil had a fantastic time at a local Primary School Prayer Space before the half term holiday. It was a joy to partner with St. Mary's Church, Rougham to support a local school in exploring what Christians mean by prayer.

I’m looking at running a fundraiser for BCY over the school holidays and need a really decent prize to encourage families to take part!
Does anyone have a holiday home they’d be prepared to donate for a weekend ( it can be with specified dates) for a family? Or anything else you think would work better?
And also anyone out there prepared to match what we raise??

Our next youth worship night is back on the 23rd June. This is for all those aged 13-18 years old. We'll be meeting at Bridge community church at 7pm, we'll have more band led worship, times of prayer and testimony. Plus we'll have games, time to hangout and chat to others, plus we'll have an ice cream cart! Don't miss out! Do come and join us on the 23rd.

Phil is looking forward to another half term of Walk Through the Bible lessons at one of our local primary schools!
