One of the great benefits of engaging residents in various activities is the stimulation of their cognitive function. Providing activities that challenge their minds can slow down the cognitive decline and help them retain a sense of self and identity. At Penylan House our weekly activities program includes sensory and cognitive stimulation, keeping residents comfortable while enjoying dementia-friendly activities.
