Just a little reminder: The studio will be closed from Sunday, August 25th, to Tuesday, September 10th, while I’m away on annual leave.

I’ll be back and ready to get things glowing again after a little rest and relaxation.

Happy Birthday Nu-Clear 🎂

I wish I could say that I was bringing this second year of business with a bang, but instead we’re prepping for a busy week or work at our own little project - our home.

It feels like I’m reliving the endless amounts of dust that was in the pre-renovation photos 😶‍🌫️. Kind of like 4D.

I’m resharing a few stories I shared with you all a weekend ago - I thought I’d like them to stick around on the grid.

I think at times (certainly on Instagram) we can see the end product but not see all of the work that was put in to get there.

Without overtly lamenting, I genuinely feel so stirred emotionally when reflecting on all of the faces I’ve had the privilege to care for - and continue to care for.

I’ve managed to create so many special bonds with all of you that have only made my life that much richer.

There are only more exciting happenings at the studio in the coming months that I look forward to sharing with you all.

Yeah…it’s just one of those weeks 🤷‍♂️

I’ve not felt overly inspired to post on here as of recent.

I’m not in a low mood or anything, I’m just finding other things more interesting at present, such as doing actually treatments which IG can be a real distraction from.

I thought since I’m not feeling inspired, why not share the work of VERY inspired individuals - the artist’s whose work we have around the studio 🎨.

Now my lil’ one-man studio surely isn’t the Guggenheim, and I can only buy in more affordable mediums at present, nonetheless the few works we’ve collected in the last 12 months make the studio feel more than what it is and give me many moment of visual joy thought out my days down here. Enjoy.

1. - super cool digital artist whose works have stamped themselves on my brain.

2. These monochromatic works really jumped out at me and I could instantly see them looking at home on our wall.

3. - From the art clan know as the James, his meticulous work gave my eyes a long hard walk to take in all of the details. Although unrelated, the picture reminded me of the stratified layers in the skin (as seen in a punch biopsy).

4. - we have a connection to Dawn just by chance, and I’m forever grateful to have her skilled hands (and brushes) craft such an impactful welcome in our reception area.
