Happy Halloween 🎃 from our Mini Melodies North East music group. Lots of singing and dancing this morning.

Mini Melodies is suitable from birth to preschool and runs every Thursday 09:30 in the main hall.

£2 donation per family.

The cost of the sessions has been subsidised thanks to a grant from County Durham Community Foundation.

Tomorrow we have Sacriston Youth and Community Project’s pregnancy to preschool group. £1 per family.

Starting this week at Nettlesworth Community Centre - Mini Melodies

The music and movement class that can help babies recognise and respond to the rhythm of music develop confidence and independence of older children.

Suitable from birth to pre-school

Thursday’s 09:30am

£2 per family

No booking necessary, just turn up ready for a 09:30 start.

The community centre has ample free parking and also accessible by bus.

Not long left till we say goodbye to what has been a busy summer holidays for the charity.
We starting back with our NETTLESWORTH PRE TEEN GROUP on Tuesday 3rd September with a FREE IN HOUSE ACTIVITY.
We welcome Amanda Amanda's Creature Comforts CIC- Animal Handling/Experiences in to our venue this will be in a relax session were all children and young people have time to touch, feel and ask questions about each animal. If your child doesnt like to touch but is interested in animals thats fine they can still come along and ask questions.

Thank you to O’Brien’s Funfairs 🎡 and Catering for their amazing service and taking away all of the pressures of organising the fun day.

Thank you to the local businesses who donated to our raffle.

And most of all - thank you to everyone who came along, enjoyed the free rides and supported the stall holders inside.

The family fun day is officially open.

Thank you to Sacriston Youth and Community Project for organising this event every year and thank you to Kimblesworth and Plawsworth Parish Council for funding the rides so that the whole community can enjoy them free of charge

ONLY 1 MORE SLEEP

Remember it’s the Nettlesworth free family fun day this Sunday 2nd June 11-3pm.

There will be free rides thanks to funding from Kimblesworth and Plawsworth Parish Council.

There will be food on sale outside at the catering van and ice cream van.

Inside there will be stalls, pop corn/candy floss and tea and coffee in the canteen.

The community centre will be selling raffle tickets to raise funds for the centre which will be drawn at 13:30 on the day.

You can purchase tickets in advance from any of the trustees from the centre. Or you can buy them on the day.

We have a coach trip to Blackpool on Saturday 14th October.
Coach leaves Nettlesworth Community Centre at 9am and leaves Blackpool at 7pm,
We still have some available seats the cost per seat is £5 deposit which is refundable on the day,
