It's that time again.
"Current firework regulations don’t apply to private displays, making them more unpredictable and harder to control." Until the law changes, we will work to advise as much as we can - to help lower the impact on pets and wildlife.
However you celebrate tonight, please consider your neighbours, and
Inform your neighbours if you plan to have a private fireworks display tonight. Consider the effect of fireworks on surrounding animals, (and vulnerable people) and think about using alternatives - such as LED displays. Be creative - the less noise disturbance, the better all round.
Wrap up earlier rather than later - As advised by the National Society, "Pick a good time for your display. Avoiding late hours is more considerate to both animals and vulnerable people. And keep it short and sweet."
Our fun shouldn't come at the cost of their comfort and safety.
