URGENT HELP NEEDED - George’s life changed forever when he was severely burned while fixing a TV aerial in Kenya.
The burns have dramatically scarred him, and he faces a long road to recovery.
Hospital costs have already reached £2,500, but he needs £2,000 more for critical aftercare.
We need your help. Every pound you give brings George closer to healing and back to his family.
Please, open your hearts and give what you can. Your generosity can make a world of difference.
Thank you for your kindness.
Dear friends and supporters,
We urgently need your help.
On what seemed like an ordinary day, George Ndirangu's life changed in an instant. While fixing a TV aerial outside a house, George encountered a live wire that ignited a devastating fire (electricuted). In a matter of seconds, he suffered severe burns and has been in the hospital undergoing critical treatments.
This tragic accident has already cost over £2,500, which our organisation, BBK, has largely covered, with £500 coming from generous donations. But George's fight is far from over. He faces extensive aftercare with the total estimated costs climbing to another £2,000 or more.
George's resilience and bravery inspire us every day, but he can not face this journey alone. We are reaching out to you, our community, to help us support George in his time of need. Your donations can make the difference between life and death, between despair and hope.
Every pound you give brings George one step closer to recovery, one step closer to returning home to his family. Your support not only funds medical treatments but also provides emotional and psychological relief to a young man who has endured unimaginable pain.
Please, open your hearts and contribute what you can. Together, we can help George heal and rebuild his life.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
With heartfelt gratitude.

We are incredibly grateful for your generosity and unwavering support. Thanks to you, we have been able to purchase 22 new school uniforms, including underwear and shoes, for the most underprivileged children at Barani School.
A new uniform is more than just clothing—it’s a symbol of hope and a key to education for these children in Kenya. It boosts their confidence, fosters a sense of belonging, and encourages regular attendance, significantly impacting their learning experience.
Did you know that a full set of uniform, including shoes and underwear, costs just £7? Additionally, we’ve paid for the school fees of 5 children, at just £ 11 each.
These contributions are life-changing, and we couldn't have done it without you. Thank you 🙏

🌍 BBK's mission goes beyond short-term aid; it's about fostering lasting change. Why is self-sufficiency crucial? It empowers individuals like Mr Tuva at the Gates of Joy, to break the cycle of dependency. When people stand on their own feet, they regain dignity and shape their futures paving the way for sustainable growth and resilience in communities.
Today is World Toilet Day! This toilet shown here, is the toilet we built at The Powerhouse (Jesus Healing Ministry) orphanage. The money was raised via a cake sale held by a local primary school in County Durham!
World Toilet Day is an annual United Nations Observance promoted through a worldwide public campaign that encourages action to tackle the global sanitation crisis.
Today, there are 3.5 billion people still living without safe toilets and 419 million people still practising ‘open defecation’. In these situations, diseases spread, killing 1,000 children under-five every single day. This global crisis poses a threat to nature and everyone’s health, particularly women, girls, and other vulnerable groups.
If your local school, community group or college would like to fundraise for BBK's projects, do get in touch! We would love to hear from you!
We are thrilled to share these pictures with you! Through your kind donations, we are able to distributing reusable sanitary pads to the young ladies in Barani school. PadMad is a Kenya based non profit organisation, the pads are stitched in rural Kenyan communities, using locally produced materials, creating employment for marginalised women. So double whammy of helping!
Facts: 65% of girls in Kenya can’t afford feminine hygiene products. 1 million school age girls miss an average of four days per month because of their mental cycle and no access to female hygiene products.
A survey done by Proctoring & Gamble (P&G) and Heart education found that 42% of Kenyan school girl have never used sanitary pads and instead use alternatives such as rags blankets pieces of mattress tissue, paper and cotton wool.
If you would like to contribute to purchasing some pads for these girls, please donate online. Each reusable PadMad costs just 87p each!
Thank you so much! We believe all girls have the right to dignity. Period.

Handing out new school uniforms at Barani Village School. For the children in Kenya go to a government school, the children must wear a uniform. A uniform, shirt & skirt/shorts costs £15 a set. The children get one set and it lasts until it’s thread bare, as you can see.
The money we raise goes towards uniforms, and underpants, shoes, exams and food.
We are alway grateful to anyone who feels they can donate, any amount, anytime. Thank you, thank you for giving these children a chance of an education 🙏 www.bbkafrica.org
