π³πΈ The Chain Oak at Alton Towers - a centuries-old tree steeped in legend and folklore, its mysterious story inspiring the popular theme park ride, Hex. The chains that hang from its branches bear witness to a chilling curse, where a falling branch signals the death of a family member. An eerie reminder of the consequences of cruelty, this ancient oak stands as a haunting testament to the power of superstition and the enduring allure of a good ghost story.

I took this photo at a beautiful location called Brodsworth Hall. The gardens are amazing and well worth a visit. The main attraction in the garden was this captivating fountain. I was able to freeze the water in motion, creating the effect of stopping time.
These moments in my photos are what I love so much because you can revisit and relive them over and over again. This is why I love photography, and it will be a part of me for many years to come.
Brodsworth Hall and Gardens
My last set from the day. The location is call High Tor near Matlock Bath. It's a great location with little tourist around and always brings out the best of the area. It was truly a good day out with my trustee Nikon, when the weather is being good π.
The Heights of Abraham
This location was taken from Matlock Bath High Tor. I had been to this location a couple of times. I always love to revisit them just to see if there is anything I missed the first time. I love the vastness of the sky and with a compelling cliff face. In the shot there is a couple enjoying the moment on there walk up. I will always pop back to this location, with nice weather of cause π you never know what you will find.
Slowly finding myself again in what I love to do , which is photography πΈ. On my trip out I was able to stubble on this wildlife of blue and white flowers. I just love the contrast.

π Welcome Back! Rediscovering My Passion in Photography π
Hey, friends! It feels incredible to be back here, reconnecting with all of you once again. I've missed this vibrant community and the wonderful conversations we used to have. Life took me on an incredible journey recently, and I'm thrilled to share that I've finally found my passion again!
You know, sometimes life has a way of pulling us in different directions, presenting unexpected challenges and opportunities along the way. It's during those times that we may lose sight of what truly ignites our soul, leaving us searching for that spark of inspiration. But here I am, standing before you, reinvigorated and ready to embark on this exhilarating new chapter.
During my time away, I took a step back and delved deep into self-reflection. I explored different paths, embraced new experiences, and allowed myself to grow in countless ways. And you know what? I discovered that finding one's passion is a beautiful journey of self-discovery, filled with twists and turns that ultimately lead us to our true calling which is in photography.
The process of rediscovering my passion in photography was both thrilling and challenging. It required me to push boundaries, step outside my comfort zone, and fearlessly pursue what truly sets my heart ablaze. I immersed myself in various activities, explored different fields, and allowed my curiosity to guide me towards new horizons.
Now, I can proudly say that I've rekindled that fire within me. I've reconnected with my passion, and it feels like coming home after a long and fulfilling adventure being away for so long. It's an incredible feeling to wake up every day with a renewed sense of purpose and enthusiasm, knowing that I'm pursuing what truly makes me come alive.
But I didn't want to keep this journey to myself. I wanted to share it with all of you, my amazing friends, because you've been a constant source of inspiration and support throughout my life. Your encouragement and positive energy have played a significant role in helping me find my way back to what I love most.
Thank you for being here, for your unwavering support, and for being a part of my life. I'm thrilled to reconnect with each and every one of you with the art of my photography.
With love and again thank you for your We relentless support.
Adrian
Hello all
For the past couple of events I have volunteered with an archaeological group called Mercian Archaeological Services CIC .
Working closely with the team it has been an honour to go to areas around Sherwood Forest and surrounding areas looking for lost interesting sites that were once related to the efforts of training for WW2.
This National Lottery funded event is one of many efforts to preserve and record sites by recording the landscape via skills of Level 1 surveying.
While am learning the skills I can't help myself to take a couple of pictures as the area is brilliant for any photographers and nature lovers too.
If anyone is interested in getting involved in such events see the link below. They are really friendly team and always on point to answer any questions regarding archaeology and Sherwood Forest.

I have reached 400 followers! Thank you for your continued support to the end of the year. I could not have done it without each of you. ππ€π See you in 2023 with some new locations and photography too β€οΈ
