Good morning and happy Monday 🤩 Last week was mega busy so there wasn't much posting happening. Partly because I've been doing lots of 'extra-curricular' learning and I'm loving it 🤓- including an online gallery critiquing session, which was fab! I've also been doing some work for my course AND am about to be a beta tester for an online copywriting course 📝 ⁠​​​​​​​​

There's so much to work on when you work for yourself - plus it can be lonely. So it's fab to learn and meet new people - even if every evening this week I will be sitting in front of my laptop and zooming 🤪 ⁠​​​​​​​​

Capturing mood ✨ I have this exact shot with Eden and Thea as a newborn (I’ll post it in stories) so when I saw Thea peeking in at Elsie, I had to get my camera ❤️ ​​​​​​​​

When I look at this now, it takes me straight back to the mood of that time. Newborn daze, house full of flowers, the wander of someone - a stranger - arriving and us all grappling to get to know her 🥰 ​​​​​​​​

They’re back at school today but sure the first thing I did when they walked out the door was look at pictures of them 🙈 ​​​​​​​​

Friday 🥳🥳 at last! And for all of those who are STILL in the kids holidays- we’re nearly there!! 🎊🎉 ​​​​​​​​

7-9 months is a wonderful age for photographs 🥰 Bundles of personality, with good neck strength and usually sitting up, but still with lots of details - think squishy thighs, wispy hair tufts, knuckle dimples….scrumptious 😍​​​​​​​​

Negative space is the empty space in a photograph and it can really make all the difference when you assemble your pictures for a gallery wall 🥰 Do you find it easy to print your pics or (like me) do you put it off?​​​​​​​​
