It’s the week of the Sea Angling Classic, and a number of Rodman Owners and boats will be competing in the competition which runs from 15th-19th June. In line with the competition’s commitment to the environment and clean seas, all competitors are asked to complete a beach clean ahead of the competition. Ben of RBS Marine will be competing with Darren, owner and skipper of Rodman 1250 ‘Snowflake’. This weekend Darren carried out his clean at Point Clear Bay near his boat’s home port on the East Coast ahead of his trip round to Portsmouth on Wednesday. Ben also completed his clean locally at Bracklesham beach - as ever there was plenty to find, small items to fill a bag along with some heavier bits! Dogs helped too!

We've recently received news that a record Porbeagle has been landed off the coast of Donegal, Ireland. This magnificent 9ft long, 571 pound fish was then transferred onto Rodman 1250 'Marco' skippered by Peter McAuley, where a Trinity College team of scientists tagged the fish with a satellite transmitter and released safely alive as part of their conservation research project. The Porbeagle shark was caught by Sidney Kennedy on board 'Aires', skippered by Terry Jackson and the crew on board the Marco included Matej Stulak and Angela Heath. Some stunning pictures here of Rodman Spirit 42 Coupé 'Wa Wa', owned by Hugh, exploring the waters of Loch Lomond. Hugh took this one owner from new boat on as something of a blank canvas and has really enjoyed customising the boat and making her his own. She's looking beautiful Hugh, as is the scenery! 🥰
