Ash class thoroughly enjoyed their visit to ‘The White Church’ in Warmsworth. They asked lots of great questions and were keen to learn about the Christian celebration of Easter. ⭐️

We loved celebrating National Poetry Day.
School was filled with rhythms and rhymes, with Haiku’s, Sonnets, Acrostics and Prose poetry all being crafted and discussed throughout the day.
From Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes in Year 1, to Shakespeare’s Love Sonnets in Year 6.⭐️

We have had some amazing Easter Egg Designs so far… why not get creative this weekend. before the entry deadline on Monday! 🐣

We have had a brilliant world book day, which ended with a special assembly from local author . The children were enthralled and their imagination was taken to a different place. ⭐️

Leading up tp Half Term, children showed excellent scholarship and curiosity across school, from dissecting flowers in science to developing netball skills and learning about Chinese New Year.

From Art, to PE, to Science to Swimming, our children continue to demonstrate that they truly are brilliant.

Year 6 have been developing their hockey skills this morning, focusing on stick handling and possession

What a great start back to the new term. ⭐️Today we had a special visit from the school nurse, who was showing our youngest children the importance of brushing our teeth and how to do this properly 🦷 , especially after all of those Christmas treats.
