We were massively up against it today. With only 12 bodies 2 of which were committee and 1 coach. But the boys rolled the sleeves up and got a massive 3 points today. On a huge park at DISC against a very fit side in DUMS the boys battled and chased every ball down winning second balls there was no way we were losing today with that attitude. Only negative today is we should have went in at HT 2-0 up and our second half performance we could have been a lot better at keeping the ball. But apart from that all positive today. We look forward to next week now and our next game with an attitude like today the wins will come and the goal for promotion will be well within our sight.

A real sore one for the boys to take today. Started the game poorly giving the ball away in the first 10 seconds which results in us losing a goal. But the boys battled back hitting the post and bar in the first half but couldn’t score and give away a second cheap goal from a corner. Credit to the boys second half got ourselves back in the game with a goal but lose a third to a free kick that fly’s into the top corner that was just our luck today it was never a free kick in the first place. We score again ourselves off a rebound from a free kick. But then again give away a cheap cheap goal. The boys weren’t done though and we score a third to set up and good finish to the game but we couldn’t find the equaliser that we more than deserved. On a whole we feel we just edged a close game against a good bankies side but we come away with nothing which is hard to take. Positives to take though and we go again next week.

First competitive game back for the boys today after the winter break. And and a full squad of 16 which hasn’t happened as much as we would have liked this season. We don’t like to call out refs but today the man in the middle had a shocker. It all started with dolphins first goal which the striker handled TWICE before finishing it off well to his credit. And after that it did not get any better. Constantly stop starting the game which couldn’t flow because of this it was frustrating for both teams. Went down to 10 on 60 mins with the score 2-1 dolphin with an unbelievable second booking. A shout has came from the line but he sends the player off. Credit to us for digging deep and eventually getting the equaliser which we more than deserved. We feel it’s 2 points dropped but plenty of positives.

A cold wet morning down at riverside today on a boggy park but after a slow start the boys tried there best to the play football. On another day with chances we had it could have been double figures credit to the cleppy keeper with some great saves. Forget where our opponents are in the league they were never going to just hand us 3 points and made us work for it. We’ve came through the battle played some good stuff at times and scored some cracking goals. Another 3 points in the bag and we turn our focus to next week now.

- a very decent game for the neutrals this one, as we went into the half 1-0 to the good courtesy of Jamie Bisset… then found ourselves 3-1 down in a matter of minutes after the restart.

- however, lads worked tirelessly and with the help of a Bunter free kick to relight the fire we came back very strongly.

- great goals from AJ and a Caveman double finished the game off against a good Powrie side who we will no doubt be up there at the top end of the league at the end of the season.
