All very friendly and relaxed!
Yesterday’s Social Stroll (Sat 5 Oct)

If so, please keep an eye on our website for social strolls yet to come.
ALL MOST WELCOME!

We are getting requests for walks that can be accessed by public transport.
We are doing our very best to offer this in our programme (obviously a number of walks cannot be accessed by public transport, it’s just not possible).
This walk can, however, be readily accessed by public transport.
We do, in fact, have a walker travelling from Perth by bus to the starting point of this walk.
Last week, one of the attendees on my St Andrews Walk travelled all the way from Forfar to St Andrews by bus (journey went very smoothly with no problems at all).
Today’s Walk with Dundee Ramblers
Murton Nature Trail
Leisurely 3 miles
Thanks to Jean for a really lovely walk at Murton today.
A leisurely walk around the nature reserve with some areas along the way to stop and view other parts of Murton as well as the surrounding countryside (absolutely stunning, especially at this time of year).
A beautiful day with the sun shining (although perhaps a little chilly at the start).
Great to catch up with friends I hadn’t seen for some time and also to make new ones.
Three new walkers with us today (always great to see new faces).
Thoroughly enjoyed all the chat over lunch in the cafe at the end of the walk.
All so very relaxing with nobody in a hurry to go home.
Do you like the sound of this?
If so, please see our website for details of all walks on offer by Dundee Ramblers.
Please be assured, a very warm welcome awaits you!

This lets them know you’re coming and they can look out for you.
You will note that some of our walks are by booking only and others do not require booking.
This largely depends on the individual walk leader, their plans for the day and their management of the walk.
Basically just check the website and follow instructions for booking (if booking required).

Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Anyone looking towards getting out walking, meeting new people and making new friends?

Always very happy to chat.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
I’d like to let members and prospective members know that Ancrum Activity Centre have walking gear for hire. Maybe just starting to walk you don’t want to buy expensive equipment to start off. Mention Ramblers and you might get a good deal.
Please take a look through our forthcoming programme.
(St Andrews Social Stroll and Hopetoun Monument Circular were both held yesterday).
We do our very best to be an inclusive group (trying extremely hard to meet all needs and abilities).
Please see our website for full details.
St Andrews Social Stroll
Yesterday (Sat 7 Sept), we had (despite the very disappointing misty weather) a really lovely social stroll around St Andrews.
We were absolutely delighted to welcome members from Woking Ramblers and Kirkcaldy Ramblers.
We always wholeheartedly welcome members from other groups - great to share experiences and ideas (as well as just quite simply making new friends).
Please do remember that your membership with Ramblers entitles you to walk with any group.
We also had one lady who was joining a walk with Ramblers for the very first time (hoping to see her very soon again and that she will think of becoming a member).
A very warm welcome is always extended to all new members.
Yesterday, at the Leisure Centre in St Andrews (our stop for a comfort break), we tried to persuade this guy to join the group but he wasn’t having it.
Not a success story this time, I’m
afraid.
Thanks to Mary for the photo, by the way.
Details of all our walks and other events are published on our website.
