A couple reminders for the weekends festival;

The car park will be busy, particularly in the crossover periods between midday and 2pm, please be patient and car share where possible.

The inflatables are cash only and this is paid directly to the brilliant staff from Inflatable Hire Scotland who will be manning the area!

League Secretary, Kerry is on holiday 13/5-20/5. All requests for permits for games within these dates must be made today or they won’t be answered.

We’re still receiving team registration forms on a daily basis. We’re now imposing a hard deadline of Sunday 18th for teams to be registered, any teams missing this deadline will unfortunately miss the first 2 weeks of the season.

All fixture coordinators are volunteers and it’s only fair to give them a chance to get their individual age group fixtures sorted in advance of the season.

Another fantastic season is coming to an end this weekend.
As a lot of you will be aware this is also after 20 years my last season as chairman. I would like to thank everyone of the many volunteers who have made Fife Soccer 7s one of the biggest and best run grassroots football set ups in Scotland.
20 year's ago we had 30 team's playing on a Saturday morning, now we have over 200 teams playing on a Saturday and Sunday morning with over 2000 registered players.
Fife soccer 7s were instrumental in getting super 5s and the 9 aside games getting played through out Scotland and have constantly been at the forefront for change and improving the game, but we could not have achieved all of this without the support of the many volunteers, THANK YOU.

I hope to catch up with everyone over the weekend.
End of season medals can be collected from the decking area at the cafe.

After 20 odd years of being involved and chairing FSSDA, I am now standing down.
I will remain in post until the end of the season.

It's been a fantastic journey I have been on, starting with 30 teams and ending up with over 200 teams, that's over 2000 kids playing , FSSDA starting the super 5s and being pivotal in getting the 9 aside recognised with the syfa.

Crossgates Juniors, Kenny Ewart has organised a 1st aid course for any teams needing it.

Fife Soccer 7s are truly saddened to out the passing of TONY SPENCER.
Tony helped coach down at Pitreavie with a few teams and was always a joy to talk to.

𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗬 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗥

Everyone at Raith Rovers Community Foundation were deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Community Coach Tony Spencer earlier this week.

Tony’s passion and enthusiasm for football was infectious and his many years of coaching young people has had a lasting effect on youth football in Kirkcaldy and across Fife.

Tony was instrumental in helping young people find their love for football and in helping new volunteers feel comfortable as they started their own coaching journey.

This news has come as a shock to us all and as such our sessions have been off for the last two days as we all begin to come to terms with the loss of our friend.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Tony’s family, friends and those who have been impacted by this tragic news.

Rest in peace, Tony 💙
