Here are some of the methods we’ve discovered:

𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐁𝐢𝐭𝐞: Simply take a bite from the top, enjoying the frosting and cake together.
𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐢𝐭𝐞: Peel off the cupcake liner and bite directly into the cupcake.
𝐓𝐨𝐩-𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭: Eat the frosting first, then enjoy the cake.
𝐁𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐨𝐦-𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭: Eat the cake part first and save the frosting for last.
𝐂𝐮𝐩𝐜𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐰𝐢𝐜𝐡: Remove the bottom half of the cupcake, place it on top of the frosting, and eat it like a sandwich.
𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐊𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐞: Use utensils to cut the cupcake into smaller, manageable pieces.
𝐋𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡: Eat the cupcake layer by layer, starting with the frosting.
𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐢𝐩: Remove the frosting and use it as a dip for the cake part.
𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞-𝐎𝐮𝐭: Hollow out the cupcake, eat the inside first, then enjoy the outer cake with frosting.
𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠: Split the cupcake in half with a friend, each enjoying a part of it.

In honour of carers week, we wanted to share Judy’s story...🌟

Judy is a remarkable woman who has dedicated her life to caring for others. As an unpaid carer, Judy supports her son, who needs day-to-day assistance due to a prior brain injury. This isn't new for Judy; she has spent much of her midlife caring for various family members who needed her.

When asked why she dedicates so much of her time to caring for others, Judy simply said, "It wasn’t really ever something that I had to think about. There were those around me who needed my support, so I provided the care they needed."

Judy is one of 5.4 million unpaid carers in the UK. “It’s not always been easy and the lack of support can sometimes be disheartening,” Judy shares. Loneliness is a significant issue among unpaid carers, with one in three feeling isolated.

As we celebrate Carers Week, let’s recognise and support the incredible efforts of unpaid carers like Judy. If you know someone who cares for a friend or relative, a small gesture like a visit can make a big difference.
