Our cast and production team start to head up to Edinburgh tomorrow to get ready for our first performance on Friday!

It’s been a long three months preparing for the Fringe, but we’re so excited that the time has finally come. Thank you so much to everyone for supporting and donating to get us to where we are today. Enjoy these gorgeous shots taken from our final rehearsal in Southampton… next stop Edinburgh!

With less than a month until we head up to Edinburgh, the countdown to the Fringe has begun! And with it, we're facing our last push for fundraising to get us there.

Next up, meet Erin! 🍃

Erin is playing the titular role of Merry and so she has the difficult task of staying on stage for practically the entire show (minus about 5 seconds)

Merry starts the show just trying to figure out what she wants to do with her life after finishing her degree. With a cast and production team full of graduates and students, we certainly all relate to Merry!

🍃 Meet Will! 🍃

Will is playing a few roles in the show, but he really gets to shine in his songs as George. George is a witty romantic poet, calm and collected. If you follow our Instagram () you’ll know that Will is almost the polar opposite - chaotic and crazy!

If you aren't able to make it to the Edinburgh Fringe, this is your opportunity to see Be Merry's debut performances on 24th and 25th June.

Performances will be taking place on:

Doors will open 30 minutes before the show starts. The previews will be taking place in Building 34 on Highfield Campus, Southampton SO17 1BJ. Introducing… Ellena! 🍃

Merry and Winnie meet by chance in a park and Winnie soon decides to guide Merry through the story of her life, including her escapades with Vi!

During our 9-day run at the Edinburgh Fringe, Ellena will be playing Vi, Winnie’s best friend. It’s been a joy to have Ellena in rehearsals and see her bring the character of Vi to life.

Our next cast member for you to meet is the lovely Tom, playing the swanky and suave Cliff!

It’s fair to say that Tom is one of our six most chaotic cast members… No, but really, he has been a pleasure in rehearsals and we can’t wait for you to hear his solo with his silky smooth vocals!

With rehearsals well underway for our trip to the Edinburgh Fringe, it’s about time we introduce you to our wonderful cast… First up, meet Hermione!

Be Merry starts when Merry and Winnie meet by chance in a park. Winnie soon decides to guide Merry through the story of her life, and the lessons she’s learnt along the way. So, we thought what better way for you to meet Hermione than to ask her questions relevant to this wonderfully wholesome show!

Hermione has been an irreplaceable member of our creative team as Assistant Choreographer. She also takes on various roles within the show and plays a key part in our funky funky ✨transitions✨
