What he said!!! 👇👇👇
Raymond Mearns Had a Stroke of Luck On the first day of Fringe 2023 Raymond had a stroke and didn't even realise it for two days! He was hospitalised and had to cancel, but he's better now and back to tell you all about it. A veteran of the Fringe, Raymond is one of the most consistently funny comedians on the comedy circuit, known fo...

In August Raymond Mearns was headed for a soldout fringe run, that was until Glaswegian genetics intervened, aka he had a stroke. Of course as a Glaswegian he didn't actually notice for a couple of days! 🤣 Thankfully he's now rested and recovered! So if you're one of the many people that missed out on seeing his show in August, you've now got the chance to catch his triumphant festival return in 'Raymond Mearns had a Stroke of Luck!' March 30th at The Stand Comedy Club, Glasgow as part of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival

It’s a show about a show you could never forget, and it definitely didnae happen at one of our venues (okay maybe it did). Luckily for you, you get to relive it vicariously, from a nice safe distance. Ralph Brown: My First Hostage Situation is at Glasgow International Comedy Festival March 30th at Van Winkle.*

Like some giant comedy Voltron, March 16th at Glasgow International Comedy Festival, Rick Molland, Danny O' Brien, and Billy Kirkwood combine in 'An Englishman, an Irishman, and a Scotsman'. If it's half as packed out as their edfringe run you're going to want to get your tickets early or else camp outside Blackfriars of Bell Street.
Putting the ‘International’ in the Glasgow International Comedy Festival, ‘A Complete Idiot’s Guide to New Zealand’ is a show written in the South Pacific, debuted in Iceland, and after a sellout Edinburgh Fringe makes just one stop in Glasgow before fleeing across the border. We’ve checked, and flights to New Zealand in March are really expensive, like £1552, so why not save yourselves £1445 and 64hrs on a plane and head to Blackfriars of Bell Street on March 24th instead.
You know how they say you should never judge a book by its cover? After all this show image for Fearghas Kelly's Glasgow International Comedy Festival show at McChuills on March 19th makes it look equal parts hilarity and lunacy. It's okay this time. Go right ahead, judge it by its cover.
How can you possibly top the comedic excitement of a debut solo show? A debut solo show in your home town of course! Be there March 24 at McChuills as one of Scotland's fastest rising Comedy stars, Kathleen Hughes, takes the plunge as part of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival.
If you enjoyed Billy Kirkwood - Comedian hosting our afternoon Pick of the Fringe show this year, we have no doubt you'll enjoy partying with him on a Saturday night! So why not visit the Glasgow International Comedy Festival website and RVSP for a house party!
Ba-dum-bum-tss! 🥁

Most acts skip the dreaded final Monday of the Edinburgh Fringe rather than take the risk of turning up to an empty room. Well this was Paul McDaniel's venue on the very last day of Edinburgh Fringe 2023...... what we're saying is, if you want to see his brand new show at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival, best book in advance.
The first shows of Glasgow International Comedy Festival 2024 are already on sale including a special one-off recording of Jay Lafferty's 5 Star phenomenon 'Bahookie' at the The Garage March 29th!
Packout is finished! The left over flyers have been recycled and the banners rolled up, like comedy ninja assasins it's as though we were never there! Thanks to the big laughing audiences, the creative comedians (okay most of them), and the hard working staff (all of them). See you again next year!!!

That’s all she wrote Edinburgh 🤘🏻🏴 What a show to finish on with these two legends! Thanks a million to everyone who came to my solo show and An Englishman, An Irishman & A Scotsman! A HUGE thanks to all the team and the crew for everything 👊🏼
Packed to the rafters with at Better Paul Paul the last show in Beehive One on
It's August 28th so most of our acts are having a well deserved rest, but a few gluttons for punishiment have one more show. You can still catch Paul McDaniel at 12:15, Gary Little at 17:45, and Glenn Wool at 20:15 all at Beehive Inn Grassmarket, or stroll over to The Waverley at 13:30 for Gavin Webster, 14:45 for Darius Davies, and 20:45 for Stuart Mitchell.
