Good morning, friends! Thank you so much for your patience while we took a month off to have a little break and get ourselves organised.
We're all settled in to our new HQ and Phase 1 of New Gooseneck is now in operation: you can order a selection of your favourite baked goods online for delivery in Edinburgh and East Lothian. Just check out our website and complete the order form - cake, bread, brownies and scones will soon be yours!
(And by soon, I mean 48 hours, because everything's baked fresh to order and sometimes yeast needs to do its thing 😊)

We're baaaack! Back in the country, that is. We'll be open for business again with stacks of baking and rivers of coffee on Thursday 26th! 🥳

(You might've seen a sign in the window saying the 25th, but it turns out we really need an extra day to get organised. Sorry!)

Last bakery day of the year is done! Thanks to everyone who stopped by today. We'll miss you all while we're away! We're not baking tomorrow but will be kicking around until 11am for pre-order collections, and we'll have the coffee on too. After that we're outta here until January 25th!

If you've suddenly remembered that you're in charge of desserts this year, don't panic! We've still got room for a few last-minute orders! LEAP onto the website and get your cakes!
But tomorrow is really SERIOUSLY the last day we can take orders, so don't delay. Collection or delivery available up until 11am on the 24th.

(Then we'll be on holiday for a month, so if you want to stock your freezer with scones or brownies to see you through January, now is also the time for that!)

We had a fantastic Fringe month with several of our busiest days EVER - massive thanks to everyone who visited, especially our regulars who braved the queues for their coffees, buns and bread!

Orange, pistachio and rye buns! We make these with a sweet nutty filling of crushed pistachios, orange zest and brown sugar, which perfectly balances the robustness of the rye. And they're vegan! 🍊
