If you’re bringing little ones, a heads up is appreciated so we can plan some child-friendly activities. They’ll love learning about growing, playing on the climbing frames and rope swings and embracing the joy of getting muddy! 🧅🌶️🧄

And, of course, we always break for tea and snacks around 11ish! 🌱☕️

We’re looking for a friendly and organised Administrator to help us grow and improve how we work. It’s a flexible, one-day-a-week role, working from home – ideally spreading the hours over 2-3 days per week 🖥️

If you’ve got strong ICT skills, are highly organised and have experience managing data and finances, we’d love to hear from you! 💕

Happy Organic September! And Happy Harvest time! Despite the dreary Autumn weather, we're hitting harvest time here at the farm, one of the best times for seasonal eating and supporting your local veg box scheme!

Do you want to get in on this delicious veggie action?! We're currently looking for new members and would love for you to give our veg a try! Sign up for one of our 4 week trials, and we'll make you up a share of our harvest every Tuesday for the month, and deliver it you in reusable packaging to one of our collection points in Newton Abbott, Bovey Tracey, Heavitree, Chudleigh, Christow, Dunsford or Ashton. It's a great time to catch the last of our summer crops (tomatoes, sweetcorn, aubergines still cropping for a few more weeks!). All the goodies in the pic are from this week's medium veg bag, grown by us using better-than-organic methods, prioritising biodiversity, soil health, as well as human health. And all grown in the Teign Valley, with the help of our community, by a small not-for-profit community owned enterprise.

In the pic: Our heritage tomatoes still going, green peppers- both bell and c***o de toro, a bunch of celery, stored carrots lifted last month (before the root fly got at them), a bag of zinging coriander, a generous bunch of rainbow chard, some cayenne peppers- which are HOT, multicoloured courgettes and what's that right in the middle...!? A Teign Greens melon 😮! So sweet and juicy and you wouldn't believe the smell!

The course has covered both theory and practical skills which has been really valuable to me as a new entrant farmer, as well as connecting me to a network of fellow students who the future of regen food & farming. Working at Teign Greens has given me the practical foundation to continue my career in organic growing after the traineeship finishes. It’s also been endless fun working on a small, but extremely driven and hard working team as well as all the legendary volunteers!”

Look out for our multicoloured tomatoes, yellow and green courgettes, cabbage, fennel, salad, chard, carrot & beet bunches. All organically grown in harmony with nature by our not for profit community org, with lots of love just down the road in Ashton. What's not to love?!

The new team at The Artichoke Inn starts doing food this weekend and we’re chuffed they’ll be serving super local Organic salad leaves from Teign Greens and some of our veg with Sunday Lunch too! Here we are picking it all, as fresh as you get 😊

The farm is brimming with some absolutely gorgeous produce at the moment, bringing colour and joy to our weekly veg bags! Here’s a selection of things to look out for in your bags this month: January King Cabbage, Raddichio, black futsu squash, baby turnips, rainbow chard, red kale, bunched beets and chillies and apples. We currently have a very limited number of trial spaces if you fancy trying it out, drop us a message
