Fuzed Group are on the look out for an two Apprentice to work along side our ever growing team of engineers to help install commercial Solar PV systems to clients all across the UK from 100kW up to multi-megawatt projects nationwide.

In this role you will be taught everything AC related from Commercial & Industrial AC to Solar PV installations.

They would be happy to frequently stay away and travel nationwide. Ideal candidate will do 1 week at collage and 3 weeks on site Monday - Friday.

We're offering double the National minimum apprentice wage with progression every year until completion.

The Role:
-Electrical NVQ Level 3
- Installing commercial PV systems from 100kw up to multi megawatt
- Nationwide travel
- Excellent learning potential with future progression within the Fuzed Group

- Able to enrolee on an NVQ level 3 program with college

Fuzed Group have secured a healthy pipeline of projects for 2024/ 2025 Nationwide we’re looking for the following trades to join our ever expanding team:

Self employed Electricans. You must hold a valid ECS Gold card with the latest wiring regulations, Inspection and testing, have a proven track record of delivering commercial installations.
Day rate £230+ (price negotiable)

Labourers the candidate must hold CSCS cards / IPAF/ Telehandler licences would be advantageous - Training can be provided.
Day rate £130

2 x experienced roofers with a proven track record of delivering large commercial PV rooftop installations, Ground mount experience would be beneficial however not essential. CSCS card, IPAF, Telehandler licences , SSTS would be advantageous, training can be provided.
Day rate £150+ (price negotiable)

We are looking for candidates Nationwide, we can supply work van to the right personal.

All the above positions require working away Monday-Friday, All accommodation is pre-booked with Air B&B, wages paid weekly.

• Containment rooftop - Legrand Hot Dipped Galvanised to ensure longevity for years to come whilst installing A2 stainless fixing screws + EPM to avoid electrolysis.

Electrical -Space was tight with no room to wall mount inverters meaning a uni-strut frame was erected. Electrical design carried out in house by Fuzed Electrical, this was particularly challenging as the client requested we used the available x2 630a supplies. However we over come this with a custom built PVDB which contained everything for the system to work seamlessly whilst looking fantastic!

Mechanical - Installation was very challenging with the weather choosing to rain most days - freshly painted roof mixed with 100mm crown to crown centre’s made things very challenging. The mounting system requiring us to install the supplied EPDM tape which wasn’t possiable in the wet. However we still remained professional & installed to the highest of standards despite these set backs taking longer then planed.

Commercial swimming pool 30+ years old failed an annual Electrical Installation Condition Report with major none compliances. Clients took the opportunity to go above and beyond to future proof the electrical installation which turned out pretty well given the tight space and time to complete.

TT earthing arrangements means 100mA S RCD type A up-stream for fault protection and 30mA Type A for final circuits with additional equipotential & supplementary bonding as required in bs7671-702 “RCD’s can not be the sole means of additional protection in special locations”.

Fun doing this little project and a quick turn around for a tight schedule with short notice. ⚡️🏊🏻‍♂️

Upgraded from a Gold card to a Black Card - yes I am now one of those silly site mangers that no one likes 😂 Having completed my citb SMSTS course a few months ago i can now run a team on site as an Electrical site manager, this course was a massive eye opener and I would highly recommend to anyone out there regardless of there current status or trade! 🎩 👷🏼‍♂️

We have spent many years in the solar industry with lots of experience however never obtained an official qualification - this has now changed and a BEPEC Solar & Battery storage has been achieved. ☀️ 🔋⚡️

Next we have achieved our awareness course with some exciting projects on the horizon - I was shocked at just how dangerous automated gates can be and should be left to competent trained professionals. 🚪

Finally we have updated our IPAF categories 1b,3a & 3b. 🏗️

Finally finished the DB on the industrial unit fit out. Few additional bits to do in a few weeks along with an EV charger. Filmed a lot on this one for FuzedTV. Enjoyed this one however took longer than expected due to call outs, van out of action for 2 weeks due to a wall just appearing out of no where + other projects on the go. Just waiting for the meter monkey to arrive before I can do a fresh EIC/Emergency lighting commission and handover the site officially. 🎥🍿💥🔋🔧⚡️💰

Quick little Industrial job for a long term customer, installing 50x50 lighting trunking for some LED fittings with some galvanised tube for containment. Along with some new toys electric threader…. What a cracking bit of kit I wouldn’t be without it now & this Digital angle gauge! This will make the YouTube clan scratch their heads 😅 If I had a choice I would do Industrial all day everyday, house bashing will be the death of me - if you know you know!!! 🔧 ⚡️🦺🤙🏼

Spent Tuesday up securing our IPAF license 1b,3a,3b in preparation for some major up coming works….. basically playing on some bloody expensive toys!! Good to keep up to date on the important things and you learn something new every time on these courses, I’m the type that wants to know as much as possible not just there to “pass” to be away by lunchtime. We’d highly recommend this company for training located in Bridgewater - amazing to deal with from start to finish all staff are a credit to the company! Very good on the price, brand new equipment, insane coffee on tap, lunch included, they didn’t rush you through the whole process, answered every question thoroughly and to top it off we had a great laugh!! Hats off to you guys for the great hospitality and training, see you again very soon!! 👏⚡️💥🦺
